Those things will both be mined for statements used to build deposition questions and trial testimony.

Look up Nick Eberling and “Not Impossible”. A couple of years ago his group was working on a device that seemed very promising in helping Parkinson’s patients control their tremors. I haven’t seen anything since but I would reach out to him and see if anything ever came of it. (The prototype seemed like a miracle but maybe there were unexpected side effects so it never came to market.) Just a thought.

Not all Parkinsons is the same. My mom had atypical Parkinsons and never got the trembles. The disease was just as bad otherwise.

That is some cut rate travel these people take if they rely on fast food joints for connectivity while traveling. I don’t even know kids who are that hurting for wifi on the go. These folks must be absolutely skint!

I cannot believe in this day and age that there are people who consider themselves sophisticated, at least to a certain extent, who don’t have a travel plan on their phones, a sim card when they land, or a personal hotspot. Or stay at a hotel respectable enough to have in-room wi-fi.

Since they are reading along, Kanareks, if you travel in Europe I can recommend Wi-Fi Candy. They will deliver (or you can pick up at major airports) and you just pop it in the mail as you leave for home. They send the pre-address package with the unit. I spend my time in super remote places and have had zero connectivity issues.

I also spent my summer taking 2 standing conference calls that ended up being 12 AM and 2 AM b/c I had travelled and changed time zones. When something is important to your job or your family, you make it work.

That’s the thing though, they don’t have any integrity. That’s not a word or concept that they can even begin to comprehend or practice.

This whole lawsuit/MB thing/Finishing the bastard is a game to them. It always has been. IMO, based off of what I’ve seen, it’s sick and they take pleasure in it. What more can you say? If this isn’t apparent to everyone by now, they obviously live with their head in the sand.

Again, I could never support these type of people and their actions. It says a lot about those that do. When I’ve brought this up before, it struck a chord with certain posters, but if you can’t look at yourself in the mirror and accept what you see, that’s not on me.

I’ve no problem with people using proper legal channels and/or filing legit lawsuits when they’ve been wronged, but I do have an issue when people (generally speaking) start playing games, filing frivolous suits, or just being stupid. Granted, it keeps some of us employed, but it just clogs things up and you just look like an a**. I just hate time wasters and those who are playing… And no, it’s not because we’re not on their level or don’t understand their 8D chess, most of us just aren’t that type of person, thankfully. I could never dedicate my life to so much hate, and “finishing” people. That ain’t right. It’s a sad life, but we all make our choices, I guess. Just irks me when you want to drag everyone down to your miserable level.

Agreed. That’s why I added that carve out at the end.

That they are now trying to pull something as ham fisted and pathetically obvious as ‘oh, we can’t do it now b/c we just faffed off out of the country for a month without any warning’ is, I guess, at least on brand for this crew.

And, yes, anyone who can support them beyond, ‘just say no to gun violence’, is broadcasting loud and clear their own lack of character.

Of all the causes to take up for someone you don’t know, how anyone looks at this one and thinks, ‘yes, this is a good and worthy use of my online time’, is beyond my ken.
