MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

I just had a funny thought. If LK loses her lawsuit because of the lack of hard forensic evidence that MB shot her, do you think that LK will then file suit against the PD for failing to obtain proper forensics?

I mean, if things went down during the incident the way she says they did, but the jury doesn’t believe her version primarily because of the lack of forensics supporting her claim (and also because of her extreme lack of credibility), couldn’t she allege that the PD failed to properly do their jobs?

Of course, if things didn’t go down the way she says, then I guess she would be essentially shooting herself in the foot (so to speak) by suing the PD. It would be hilarious though to hear her arguments about why the PD is liable for her “losses.”

Someone somewhere said that FL house was heavily mortgaged recently. Interesting if true.

I’m guessing that Nagel is demanding some $$$$. Also, leasing a barn plus apartment at a facility with a covered arena, etc., plus feed/hay/shavings/farrier/vet/labor/etc. for upkeep of 4-5 horses must be taking a bit of a toll on LK’s trust fund.

As has been shown, because of the discussion about Michael’s case against the police department, the laws say that the police department owes no one any standard of service. So, it sucks that the police department did a crappy job on all fronts here, but no, it is not actionable.
