I still wondering if collateral estoppel will be raised to bar the re-litigation of whether MB shot LK. since the burden of proof is higher in the criminal case. Hopefully they will resolve this and I will never know.

We did a remodel over the past two years and went with shades of white with a hint of grey and blue accents for tiles, counters, cabinets and walls, and dark hickory floors.

But, I do wonder. It has been niggling at the back of my mind for a few days. Was it not Mr. Silver who said that attorney-client privilege can not cover criminal acts? We have assumed that meant the recordings, but forging signatures and documents (as mentioned in the criminal trial) is also a criminal act, and probably a lot more relevant for SGF than the recordings made against Barisone. I wonder if it is possible that JK presented SGF with some questionable documents in an attempt to keep LK on the farm at some point after the shooting……

ETA: pre-shooting LK was very vocal about her agreements being in writing.

That would be called the ignore feature. Flawed as it is, by using it one is theoretically only getting relevant information.

I am not related to the Kanareks nor know them outside of this forum. I am not Facebook friends, instagram, LinkedIn, Neighborhood, or other horse forum friends, or comment on YouTube.

There is no progress in the civil case. The thread descended into Kanarek bashing. Then CH commented as did I. It has circled the drain since with all the back and forth sniping and pettiness that inevitably gets the threads shut down.

So, out of curiosity, why are you so strident when it comes to Lauren Kanarek, but so nasty when it comes to other victims, specifically the Ebeling one?

Will take one tomorrow as soon as I clean it lol. Just got back from a week away looking after my mom and let’s just say my husband and teenage daughter didn’t go out of their way to get the house shipshape before I arrived. I found and cleaned up 4 different spots of dog pee from 3 different dogs (yes in my brand new hickory floors) before I even took my shoes off. Not the homecoming I had in mind…
