MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

Because having blatant lies sitting there just sucks!

I realize it is a waste of time, but lies suck.

It is also a waste of time to post telling everyone else to post a certain way.

That may be true, but lots of people do it anyway. Lol.

Please NEVER feel the need to protect me.

There are many buttwipes working in government. I’ve had 2 as bosses. But I’m happy to say that justice eventually found them, with one having to surrender his firearm before being escorted out of the courthouse in cuffs.

A few days later, the local paper cited heart problems. Oh how I laughed and laughed!

I’ve seen judges go bye bye. Our own judges saw one get tossed after a drunken drive damages a dozen cars, and the other was brought down due to being touchy feely with many women. That one was quite the adventure with every female in the courthouse being driven in law enforcement cars to the judicial conduct people by subpoena (we didn’t duck it) to immediately testify. Myself included.

So government idiots are just as plentiful as idiots in public, horse world idiots, religious idiots, etc. So while each “world” has many fine people, they ALL also have idiots.

I’m not the one lying. I’m just saying a different view. The post I brought up had the sabotage something you also objected to. You really need to stop relying on calling people liars when you are shown to be wrong. It’s not working for you.

Are you sure about that? “MB told him” ?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I provided a screen shot of the post you linked to. I think @Ambitious_Kate made some great points in that post. But it very much does not talk about the heat, propane, or frozen pipes, which is what you claimed it would talk about.

What I don’t get is why some post in that thread matters? It was stated as fact - not speculation - that Michael Barisone “didn’t pay his gas bill allowing the pipes to freeze”.

There was under oath testimony that shows that is not, in fact, a fact, linked above. Some might call that statement a lie, even as it’s not a different point of view, a misstatement of fact, or shows confusion. It’s just flat out wrong.

So, how does random speculation in some other thread by CoTH posters, help us determine what is a lie? How does that help?

Ha! They would apparently be without a police department if they actually held anyone to standards.

My memory is not infallible, but what I remember is that one of the two defense experts testified that MB told him that he (MB) remembered taking the gun out of the safe and driving down to the farmhouse, but remembered nothing after that.

I think that meshes well with the 48 Hours presenter stating as fact that MB took the gun from the safe and drove down to the house, but “what happened after that is unclear”.

That’s what I remember.

Maybe you are vaguely remembering this?

I’ve never understood people posting comments like this. This is a discussion forum. It is not the responsibility of people posting here to keep others informed. There is a publicly assessible, even out of the US, website where anyone who wants an update can go. If you don’t enjoy this thread, please go there and stop chastising the rest of us.

And many thanks to Ekat for posting updates.

You are very welcome! Hopefully we will have news soon!

To build on what @trubandloki has said, lies, especially such blatant ones, need to be stopped dead in their tracks immediately, if not sooner.

Unrefuted lies have a tendency to grow rapidly and be expanded upon multiple times over.

It is like a bad childhood game of “telephone”. The further down the line the lie gets, the worse it sounds.

Then all anyone has to do is respond “No.”

I had a good teacher/mentor/friend in dog obedience training. My breed was Dobermans; hers was German Shepherds. She was known so much for her great love for the breed. When one of the many rural shelters near her had a GSD whose time was ‘running out’, they would call her. Invariably, she would take the dog and find it a home.

One of her most brilliant obedience dogs was Kaiser. Kaiser came from a home with an older couple. When the man whose dog Kaiser was passed away, Kaiser was ‘re-homed’ because he had one day pinned the Wife. To. The. Floor. My friend, E took him and did brilliant things with him.

One weekend, my friend E and I together took our dogs, Kaiser and Dante’, to some obedience trials. We shared a hotel room, and I awoke in the middle of the night to see Kaiser sleeping on the floor and my dog Dante’ sleeping in the bed with my friend E. The four of us spent a lot of time that weekend together, obviously.

On the way home, I stopped to fill my van with gas. When I tried to open my door, this is what I saw (stock photo alert):

My friend E had to physically restrain the dog that had been sitting between the two of us five minutes before. In addition, I wasn’t a stranger to Kaiser. I trained with E at her house in her pole barn. Kaiser was often with her, as I could act as a judge, steward, etc. for her after my lesson was over. I had a LOT of interaction with Kaiser, but I was ALWAYS very careful around him.

And, for what it’s worth, I have two scars on my face from being bitten by a dog as a child.

Do you know if the old true Block feature will return?

Thanks for all you do! I know these threads take a lot of your time since they sometimes become kindergarten rooms!

Yep. Any dog can bite you and any horse can kill you. You never lose respect for either. No matter how bopable their nose may be

So how are you ignoring the comment “maybe he even made the pipe burst”?

Because this topic is of interest to some of us.
The main posters tell others ‘don’t respond to so and so’. Then one of them decides that they can respond to so and so even though they have warned everyone else not to. Then there are 300 stupid posts arguing about things that have been hashed out ad infinitum.
Then there are 200 posts of recipes and it starts all over again.
The actual useful information gets buried in the dross.
