MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

Regarding the claims of MB going to the farm house with a gun…perhaps he asked MHG and the CPS lady to leave the office so that he could check that all guns were still in the safe because he’s scared to death that a certain someone who claims to have access to his office, has gone in there and taken a gun to make good on her threats. So, he checks the safe, sees a gun is missing and goes to the farm house to see if it’s there, believing that LK and RG are gone because the FM gave them the boot.

Well you just insulted KM and anyone else who works or has worked in government. You are incorrect as well. Government goes all out with ethics standards, training, HR resources, leadership and counseling training, forms to fill out that fulfill legal requirements, etc.

I feel like if that were the case then wouldn’t they have argued that at least a little in the trial?

I will have to rewatch some of the trial but I thought at one point in court during sidebar it was said that he did drive down to the house with the gun - but will have to find it to confirm.

I am a government worker as well. I didn’t take offense. I get to see government workers daily at their best and at their worst.

I do the absolute best I possibly can. But I am old as dirt and was raised with ethical standards firmly etched into my backside and mind.

But I do see here, actually in the office next door to mine, and at other State Agencies the slackness and lack of care on the daily.

And yes there are training courses, counseling, ethic stds, so forth and so on, but it depends on the person in the position. If they have ethics and stds then they will probably do a good job. If the person is basically and entitled little brat and doesn’t care about anyone but themselves, then not so much.

So it boils down to the person attached to the position.

Sounds plausible

I’ll make some assumptions this was in reply to outrage about something I said.

Well, I wasn’t implying anything about any particular gov’t workers but the institutions themselves having the nasty habit of not wanting to be held accountable or to give citizens recourse for their failures. I’m pretty sure that context was obvious though to the average reader.

I forgot. In our city, the Water Department will remove the water meters from the people who have only crawl spaces where the meters are located until spring. As mentioned, the homeowners/residents are advised to leave their water running just a trifle. Their water bill is either ‘averaged’ from their regular use, or a set amount is charged. (I forget which—the water billing is done downtown.) Of course, there is ALWAYS someone in the home who can’t resist turning off the dripping/running faucet which means, sometimes, pipes are frozen or burst.

And then he holds up and has a panic attack after getting out of his truck and realizing they are actually there and in the house.

The judge wouldn’t let them argue anything that MB didn’t remember or wasn’t brought up in direct exam, hence all the sidebars.

Geez, maybe @trubandloki is expecting JK (@Inigo-montoya) and KK(@Seeker1) to respond to her posts since they have graced our presence previously.

Extremely plausible!

And to the best of my knowledge, neither of them have repeatedly asserted they have certain users on ignore or requested not to be tagged.

Not even slightly comparable.
@Inigo-montoya (Jonathan Kanarek) and @Seeker1 (Kirby Kanarek) are not talking about having people on ignore. I am talking about them and asking them questions about what is going on. They sign on here regularly, so tagging them in no way has any plausible thing in common with what you have been doing tagging someone who has you on ignore.
Interesting twist of the facts.
But, that is what you do so I should expect nothing else.

What I remember is that the defense psychiatric expert testified that MB told him that he remembered getting the gun out of the safe and driving down to the house with the gun.

Maybe it’s that testimony of the defense psychiatrist expert that led the 48 Hours presenter to be willing to state it as fact.

The post you linked to does not even discuss the heat, propane or leaking pipes.

I have an idea. Why don’t all of us that are REALLY interested in the current motions before the court, let CH and HH carry on their own conversations and the rest of just sit and watch without engaging either one.

Because then a few month later one of them comes here and says, like they just did today, that someone posted X, Y, and Z and no one rebutted it so it must be true.

The NGRI was a DEFENSE the DEFENSE team used. It means no jail, no conviction, no punishment.

The placement of MB in a mental health facility is not done to be punitive. It’s done for safety’s sake and as soon as he dots the i’s he is released. Because he was not guilty. Not convicted. Unlike other people involved in the drama, he has never been convicted.

The prosecutor LOST.

You know, you’re not very good on nuance.

Really, who cares? They will continue to post nonsense, regardless. Why waste the time on them?
