I honestly believe there will now be official questions about inappropriate contact between Jonathan and Lauren Kanarek and Judge Stephen Taylor. I feel certain Taylor will squirm and explain anything inappropriate away, except JK making a habit out of contacting judges ex parte will become an issue. Sceusi was quite smart to send the email on to all the attorneys.
Just want to make sure you realize that the post you quoted says this.
I would think so, but the legal bills keep mounting! Hopefully an official inquiry based on official judicial complaints will put a spotlight on the situation and force 100% compliance without bias.
Since we are getting personal, I think it’s only fair if you share what your career is as well as your educational background. I would think it’s unusual to expect someone to answers these types of questions and you not do the same.
Yes and in a timely fashion.
I can never figure out if when it asks you to click on the street signs/traffic lights they mean just the signs or also the supporting poles…

You got me. In my very first post I said I am not a lawyer. I didn’t say I’ve never been a lawyer though, did I?
In your very first post you said you were not a lawyer, but worked as a para legal.
Do you have a JD? Have you worked as a lawyer?
I would have thought it was unusual for someone with a JD to then work as a para legal rather than a lawyer.

Very valid point.
I can start.
I do not work in a legal field.
I have never worked in a legal field.
I do regularly read code books though, which is why I know what shall means.

In your very first post you said you were not a lawyer, but worked as a para legal
Yes. As I stated above.

Do you have a JD?

You’ll never know if I have my JD or not.

Have you worked as a lawyer?
Maybe. Maybe not.

I would have thought it was unusual for someone with a JD to then work as a para legal rather than a lawyer
Lots of things are unusual. Maybe I lied in my Very First Post on a forum where I knew absolutely no one. Maybe life took an unusual path.
Maybe it’s none of your business.

It’s not in my experience. But I’m certain you are much more experienced than me in this area.

Claims of legal expertise and training on an anonymous forum may or may not be valid
True. You’ll never know if I have my JD or not.
hut-ho78:
Cherry picking information for bias can be done by anyone.
I’m struggling with how asking you a specific question shows Cherry-picking or bias. Perhaps they skipped that in law school.
hut-ho78:
I am saying read it for yourself
I did. And I asked you a question about their ruling and how it applies to Judge Taylor choosing to not have a 3 month hearing. You said COVID. Cool.
hut-ho78:
don’t trust selected bits for the whole story
My whole question was about the Court’s decision regarding required intervals for hearings. You said COVID. Cool.
I wasn’t aware that HH was a lawyer.
I am not nor have I ever presented myself as a lawyer or anyone who worked in any legal assistance field.

Thank you!
That is what happens to me too.
There is a meme that went around facebook that totally fit me on this subject with the very corner of a sign in one of the other squares and asked if I should pick that too.

Yes and in a timely fashion.
As I understand the process, complaints are received, assigned a number, investigated and scheduled for “the next judicial committee hearing” whenever that might be. That’s why the complaints must be as specific and emotion free as possible providing facts and examples.

I don’t think anyone should be expected to share details of their personal life on this forum, especially in a thread where it has been proven that certain readers and/or posters wish to learn other’s identities for nefarious reasons.

Not that I saw. Her recent post said she was not a lawyer but did not include the part of being a paralegal.
I think you are trying to make assumptions in an attempt to discredit ekat and IMO, it’s making you look quite bad. You should stop asking personal questions that aren’t relevant to this thread. It does not matter what ekat’s career is or what her education is. It isn’t any of your business.

Oh, come on.
How is anyone supposed to pray for other posters without knowing their full names, addresses, and social security numbers??

So true.
In my line of work…when someone says money is no object it means that they don’t plan to pay anyway.

We removed some of the interpersonal arguments since yesterday. I’m sure not all of it and some of the posts removed were deleted because they were in response to something else that was deleted, so let’s please not quibble about why “this was removed but not that.”
BOTH “sides” are feeding off of each other and pointing fingers at the other for being the ones that make this personal. This is an everyone problem and not a “they” problem.
We get it. It’s very hard to separate opinions of other posters and their opinions and motivations for posting from the discussion of the actual case…especially when this case now somewhat involves discussions that have occurred here, along with the concept of comments made on social media in general. It’s inherently intertwined.
That’s why we’re here for the occasional course correction like this one. The earlier half-halt was clearly not strong enough, so consider this a pulley rein.
Take a breather. Focus on the case and those involved in it vs. going after each other.
REMINDER TO ALL
