Dad thinks he can avoid paying an attorney so he will stall (pardon the expression) in the hopes the court is wishy washy and allows him to get away with it. He’ll only get an attorney if it’s absolutely necessary otherwise why spend the money is his thinking. He’s not offering up a darn thing.

What I still get hung up on is that LK and RG weren’t supposed to be there in Mb’s mind. LK didn’t drive so a car being there or not wasn’t a good indicator of her presence. I believe a vehicle of RG or LK’s was at the house but would MB have been able to see it a 1/4 mile down the road from the farm? Would this verify their presence?
I also don’t see RG and LK taking their tyrant of a dog in public so it seems a good possibility the dog was. I would personally carry a firearm if there was an aggressive dog that may attack me so it’s extremely plausible he carried for the same reason in my mind. 2 shots for protection for a dog makes a lot of sense in my mind.
Then I look at the picture of MB in the hospital bed after the event and in my mind those injuries absolutely warrant self defense. I don’t see how it is possible to beat someone with a cell phone in the head for 7 minutes after being shot. I definitely see it is possible to beat someone for 7 minutes and then getting shot.
Self defense makes the absolute most sense to me.

My, oh my. I am having to practically sit on my hands not to reply to some of this ridiculousness. I have a few people on ignore, but since we (g) can’t stop replying to them, I can’t stop clicking through. It is taking some pretty mighty forces of will not to respond.
Keeping that in mind… if more of us exercised some restraint, the conversation would be better kept on topic, tempers would be less likely to flare, and we wouldn’t have to see images of torture devices disguised as “bits” threatened upon us by Mod1. Lol.

You mean you don’t see how it’s possible AFTER being shot? I also find it telling that he was bit in the left groin area. If he was face down on the ground with RG on top of him immediately after the shooting, how did he get bit there? It would have had to happen prior.

Lol, yes. Yes, indeed that is what I mean. Getting shot and then beating someone relentlessly for 7 minutes is far fetched.
What also got me was when LK was describing the shootings, she held up her right hand to describe the first two shots, then her left to describe the third. I’ve seen a lot of people shoot guns but never have I seen this happen, especially when someone is trying to rapidly fire in close succession. It’s very unnatural to do and not believable, especially with no third bullet casing ever found.

That Mikmar is terrifying. In the interest of all of our molars, and our sanity… let’s not respond to 1) things discussed ad nauseam, and 2) ridiculous, easily debunked assertions. We all know (those of us who are looking at this with clear eyes, minds and hearts, at least) that the lay public agrees that:
- clearly LK launched a campaign against MB that led to the events of 8/7
- the forensics are lacking and it isn’t clear (even 48 Hours agrees!) what happened at the farmhouse on 8/7
- it appears that MB was driven insane
The rest of it is inconsequential for now. What I find most compelling about the current civil case (aside from the wordsmithing by Silver and Deninger) is that there is apparently a whole LOT we didn’t get to see. I have a feeling it won’t bode well for one camp… but we shall see.

Sounds about right. That said, given her parents’ conduct with regard to this civil suit… I highly doubt they did that.
