Sometimes even the threat of a lawsuit is enough for some people to back off, be fearful, or give in (depending on the situation).

Let’s not forget that LK was successful in bullying more than one poster off these threads and, in at least one case, off this forum entirely with her PM threats. Those had no grounds but worked nonetheless.

Again, if not for @Knights_Mom, I’m sure even more posters would have been threatened and bullied out of this discussion. That is the Kanarek SOP and it works a lot of the time. It is never the target’s fault, not on here and not IRL.

Okay, we KNOW daddy contacted Sceusi. We KNOW daddy said under the alter of IM that he was in frequent contact with Taylor, Schellhorn and Barison’s attorneys before the trial (why?). We KNOW via LK’s posts that she and daddy were sending inappropriate letters to Taylor and Schellhorn for the Krol Hearing. So, LOGIC and knowing daddy’s past actions in NC, it is quite easy for me to BELIEVE he cozied up to the MCPO prior to the shooting telling them who knows what. But I can also imagine when Michael went to the PD demanding to see the officer’s supervisors and was denied (highly irregular to be refused) that one of those supervisors was on the phone within minutes to daddy.

YOU can believe whatever you want but seem to really have issues with what others believe.

As far as “enemies”, have I ever said I have enemies or consider the Kanareks enemies? Nope. Please stop making untrue statements.

Meh. I also had take out in the kitchen of our house that our LK clone and Trainer B*tch From Hell was living in at the time. It was just take out and not a sign of BFFs or one big happy family. I paid for half of it. And the boarders that TBFH treated like dirt declined her faux cheery invitation.

I have a friend who is an attorney. She frequently represents families whose children have been seized by CPS. She would vehemntly disagree with your statement.

Interesting, my friend works for CPS (In Canada) and they basically have to be almost dead or heading there quick to be removed from families. The goal is always to keep the family together. Maybe different in the US.

Just having CPS show up n your doorstep, even when the charges are bogus, is a frightening experience, especially if they have the police with them. You never want to be there. Trust me.

Can you imagine how scary it would be after calling the police several times to help you and them not helping one bit, and then they are there to talk about you abusing children that you loved a great deal?

One YT commentator seems to suggest this was a known habit of JK as well. He laughed about it because apparently the Livingston police department didn’t play along with such games.

also see problems with the argument that she should have avoided bring shot by moving out prior to the 7th. JK said that MB never asked her to leave. I think that may be true. From the trial we know that his lawyer, Tarshis, stepped in and demanded she vacate of Aug 5. But he also testified that MB, even at that point, did not want to evict her.

And again we know this is BS. You know it is false. You have been told hundreds of times it is false. Testimony shows it is false and yet you keep repeating it!

She had been asked to leave multiple times. Daddio and MB were working together and found somewhere appropriate for her to move with her horses. SHE KNEW SHE WAS NO LONGER WELCOME THERE AND HAD BEEN ASKED TO LEAVE.

What hadn’t happened is she hadn’t been formally evicted. Yet. Honest to God what kind of person needs it to go that far when they are clearly not wanted on the premises? We know what kind of person .

And let’s note how LK reacted when the first step in formal eviction - the letter from the lawyer - was delivered to her. Suddenly she has massive concerns about child welfare and CPS comes knocking at the door. No wonder MB was hesitant to start formal eviction proceedings, knowing she would up the ante in retaliation, as had been her pattern of behaviour. In no way does that mean he didn’t want her to leave though.

LK stated she was in fear for her safety at HH. She stated she was in fear for her horses’ safety at HH. She received numerous offers of trailering and stabling elsewhere. JK and MB arranged a perfectly appropriate place for her to go. And yet she stayed. But you want to blame MB for not formally evicting her sooner, rather than blaming LK for not leaving a dangerous situation which she created? Okaaaaaaaay…

LK should have left this situation. I agree. We don’t know how fast she could leave if the person managing the funds to pay the bills also agreed.

Saying she should have left so he wouldn’t then have shot her or be able to shoot her is not something a jury is going to buy. He never even filed an eviction. There was no restraining order (said to be an immediate provocation for getting shot but it sure helps people in court when they are the shooter instead of the shootee).

Lauren being on the farm would make it easier to keep tabs on her and limit her exposure to “bad influences”. If Daddy paid for an apartment, it would be a whole lot easier for the pusher guy to make daily visits and maybe they might let some deadbeat druggie friends move in.

Interesting theory and plausible EXCEPT for the fact that ‘some deadbeat druggie friends’ pretty much describes RG (who admitted under oath to being unemployed (deadbeat) and to have still been using (druggie) while he resided in the farmhouse (moved in)). In this scenario, the ‘bad influences’ are baked into the LK/RG relationship.

Parents who really cared would have been working to resolve that problem: their addict adult child living with an active user. Instead, they are knowingly supporting not only their adult child but also that active user.

It makes zero sense from both a parenting and an even basic logic perspective.

Who knows. Keep in mind, IM said they were subpoenaed for the criminal trial. Considering the briefs say IM is JK, Taylor also didn’t allow him to be called in the criminal trial.

One of the witnesses I am aware of who was canceled had not left NC before they were told they would not be called.

GJ lives in NJ as I recall.

I have a feeling one of the reasons several weren’t called, in addition to Taylor’s objections, is the witness list was long and the defense had made the points they were allowed to make so there was no need for the witnesses to be called and take more time. Remember they had had time constraints heading into Easter weekend. I have no idea which side had Daddy on their witness list.

I would think the witnesses for the criminal trial would also be called for the civil trials.

True. LK seems to think the purchase of Jay-T involved lifetime board and training. Her previous agreements on training included the house. Seems she thought she she was entitled to live there at least until the end of the one horse’s natural life. And agreements that were previously in writing and recorded have yet to show up……hmm….

These things are all true. JK did all these things and I too have no doubt he did even more. Consider even how he ended up on 48 Hours. His daughter is not 12. She’s an adult. Or is supposed to be.

I have no doubt that it’s possible he is the trustee for a trust which provides money for his daughter. But apart from this possibility this is way too much dad involvement for an adult daughter.

You keep on asserting falsehoods. The jury isn’t going to “buy” anything. They will see the evidence and think exactly what everyone but you and a few posters here think. And I’m including here and ALL of social media.

LK is not the only person to successfully bully someone off this forum or group taunt and bait someone until they blow and get banned.

They had no grounds to sue people here either but that did not stop Lauren Kanarek from sending out threatening emails to lots of people.

Why does every question have to be met with “but the Ks did XYZ TOO!”
Yeah, we know all about the Ks they are discussed 24/7 here 365 days a year.

I was asking what MB could get sued for by saying no, I was just curious if there was something I was missing.

If I remember correctly when MB said no to LK coming back JK threatened MB into compliance. I don’t believe the how was mentioned but I could be wrong.

I heard that on the forums and I think testimony that he “needed the money.”
