MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

@Virginia_Horse_Mom stated that “literally” the only people who think that MHG and LK were battling for MBs attention are people directly related to LK and JK.

So yes, the 48 Hours episode is proof that VHMs statement is wrong. Unless, of course, JK owns or exerts his toxic influence over 48 Hours or all of CBS … [ominous music starts to play]

Well, I can’t say it is first hand info since I didn’t receive the notices. Is it public as in published online, no. Did I learn of it from very reliable sources, yes. I don’t post emphatic posts without verified knowledge. This is actually old news to most who are aware of it.

They (48 Hours) just let JK speak for himself in the episode. He did quite a job of it. Came across like a strange guy, definitely a bit slippery and not particularly credible, IMO. He definitely came off as someone who was making excuses for his unhinged daughter.

48 Hours presented both parties’ descriptions of the underlying situation. MB’s side described LK as unhinged, and declared she had engaged in a campaign of toxic harassment, and refused to leave the farm. LK’s side tried to portray the situation as some sort of rivalry between LK and MHG, with MB caught in the middle. Honestly… that whole story is CLEARLY an attempt to save face regarding LK’s bizarre obsessive and harassing behavior.

According to various statements in different court filings… LK has developed jealous and toxic obsessions with other women before, and engaged in harassing behavior. GJ is an example. I bet there are others…

It will be interesting to see if evidence of a pattern of behavior comes out during a civil trial.

LK seems to have issues with women who have achieved something she wants and can’t get without hard work or effort - success at something, children, healthy relationships with others, talent, etc.

MHG never BATTLED for anything. Her boyfriend was being abused and tormented by a nut and she spoke up suggesting the nut should go.

That’s not battling. And using sensationalized language from a TV show as your proof is absolutely laughable and disingenuous.

There’s clearly a pattern. My guess is that there are other women, in addition to MHG and GJ, that she has fixated on before in an aggressive and toxic way…

It’s interesting how your mind works. A national network TV news magazine covers the case, much anticipated on the thread, and if the journalists report a view consistent with the Kanarek narrative, but not consistent with the mob’s, instead of thinking the Kanarek narrative might be true in that aspect, you conclude that JK manipulated the presentation.

They talked to MB, Deininger, Bilinkas, the DA, and JK as well as LK. Also Boyd Martin.

Why would JK be able to control the narrative more than Bilinkas?

Do you also think JK caused MBs civil suit to be dropped? Influenced Taylor in the criminal trial? Influenced Taylor in the Kroll hearing?

If JK is that adept at buying or threatening or influencing judges (I don’t think he is), you have a built in excuse all ready to go if the civil case results in big damages are awarded to LK.

I believe that her complaint was dismissed because his actions took prevalence. It became a moot point rather than frivolous. With being insane at the time he shot her though, once he is found to no longer be a threat to himself of others, I think he has a good chance of being reinstated.

The report on her may be just held on file until more information one way or the other. There are a lot of difficult customers in the world. .

I don’t think JK manipulated 48 Hours.

I think they reported on each side’s view of the case.

MBs side says it was a matter of an unhinged woman engaging in toxic harassment. 48 Hours reported on that at length.

LKs side says it was all about some sort of rivalry between LK and MHG. JK was interviewed and talked about this.

I thought it was an even handed approach on 48 Hours part. Knowing what I do about the case, and after having watched LK testify at trial… I doubt she convinced anyone on the 48 Hours team. I bet they all found her and JK to be a bit much. But… it seems like 48 Hours treated them fairly, regardless.

You can believe the whole strange story about a rivalry between MHG and LK if you want yo though. Just realize… almost no one else believes it. Look at all the comments on YouTube and 3 years of COTH discussions if you don’t believe me. :woman_shrugging:

If by “her” you are speaking of LK, the SS complaint I mentioned was dismissed as frivolous had nothing to do with Michael Barisone. Read my post again. The complaint was against MHG “and others” at HH and was dismissed in 2020. Long before the criminal trial took place.

Doesn’t it take two to have a “rivalry”? Lauren Kanarek had absolutely nothing that MHG needed or wanted. The imagined rivalry was 100% one sided. Only the desperate cling to the nonsense about MH wanting anything LK had.

I believe YD also participated in the PMs telling certain posters (i) how they should post, and/or (ii) not to post.

Such a pleasant crowd, these folks.

I also thought the 48 Hours episode was very balanced. But as I remember it, the presenter herself stated the background as a battle of two women for MBs attention.

Then they interviewed people from each side.

I don’t find the idea about a rivalry between MHG and LK strange at all. I think it was his inability to choose between MHGs demand that he send LK off and his financial interest in keeping her as a client that created the mess. He should have made a choice, and instead he dithered and put off making a decision.

I’ve read that inability to make decisions is one of the consequences of depression. The person is paralyzed, not willing to accept the consequences of either available choice.

Honestly… it’s like some sort of weird teenaged girl drama on LK’s part. That’s how it comes across. I have ‘tweenaged’ and teenaged children. I hear about petty irrational dramas going on within their friend groups like this on a daily basis.

Ah. So you buy into the notion that LK was a financially valuable client for MB as well?

I don’t.

I think LK and JK are big talkers about money. I’m sure in the beginning part of her time with MB, he had hopes that she would prove to be a lucrative client. I think by the spring of 2019 it was becoming clear she was more trouble than she was worth. But sometimes it’s hard to cut clients loose when you initially had a promising impression that they would prove lucrative. I think MB dithered a bit for that reason… and failed to see just what sort of a monster she was until it was too late.

I don’t think it’s anymore complicated than that.

I still have doubts about JKs net worth, and sincere questions about what the actual source of the $$$$ is when it comes to funding LKs horses and riding at present.

The whole situation has NEVER added up to me.

And after the shooting. The shooting became the focus not her report.

This is an appropriate description of LK. A 40 something woman who is so mentally immature that her daddy has to supervise her activities and spending. The weird thing is often he seems to act just like her!

OMG if you could only see your posts from the outside! The man was a top competitor and trainer for Pete’s sake. Every day he made numerous decisions that involved not only himself and the farmS but a multitude of horses, training issues and people!

You would have him painted to be like this

Michael Barisone’s problem was Lauren Kanarek. In every way, every day, it was HER.

When Lauren Kanarek didn’t get her way, when someone failed to acquiesce to her will, she would torment them. Whether it be a poster here daring to comment in a manner she found offensive or a trainer not choosing her above his romantic partner.

And the punishment for non acquiescence would continue and escalate until by force of will she got her way or destroyed her opponent by finishing the bastard.

Like a terminator she would never stop until she was forced to but even then you just knew that in the background she was seething and simmering.

Googling exploding bullets is but one of the tell tale signs she wasn’t done with finishing the bastard. And she’s still not done until she is forced to stop.

I hope for everyone’s sake - including ironically hers - that the civil case judgment, USEF and SS *ALL force her to stop.
