According to my cyber security (don’t get excited, normal package) that trolls the dark web looking for my info, our information from this forum, email and password at least, is out there for sale. I hope everyone changed their passwords after the Great Hack.

See now I read this as a threat.

I read this as “we don’t need to get subpoenas, we can just buy your info and find you”.

You interpret a suggestion to change your password after a known hack to be a threat?

Why would MB do that himself when this was supposed to be the trade for MB supporting the LK herd of horses?

If MB intended or wanted to pull permits, the work would need to be done by a licensed contractor. It appears MB chose to engage RG to do the work without a contract, without permits and without a certificate of occupancy for the living quarters in the barn.

At a minimum, a reputable contractor should have reviewed a permit pulled by an owner to verify it covered the scope of the work being done. At a minimum, a reputable contractor should have questioned the lack of inspections and inspector sign-offs being done in accordance with the permits that should have been done.

More importantly, I wonder what is going on with the contempt situation for Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek because they failed to respond to their subpoena and then after contempt charges were filed they had someone who is not their lawyer do a very poor job at filing an attempt to quash things. Oh but wait, before that filing, after the contempt thing, Jonathan Kanarek posted here on the forum that all that paperwork was filed but lost, but I guess that was a lie too.
What a mess they are making of things.

What if MB decided it was easier and cheaper to go with an unlicensed handyman and not bother with permits?

Wouldn’t the decision to not bother with an occupancy permit for the barn living quarters have been made well prior to RG and LK arriving there? Are you going to say that’s RGs fault, too?

All in all, I’m glad I’m a renter.

See, I want to see all three too! I think it would be fascinating to watch. We saw a little bit of Mr Deininger already, but I’d love to to see Mr Silver and Bruce in action.

I keep checking the website (darn you palm trees) for any info regarding when that might happen.
