We both know if LK could figure out a way to sue people without effort on her part she very well could even if the reality is she would not in the end prevail. It’s the insertion into your life I believe she would enjoy.
Also, I loathe bullies. Bullies compel me to stand against them when I know they are picking on others.

This woman and her family (at least her father, it appears also her mother) seem to get joy out of being mean to people and ruining their lives. Why would anyone not want to protect the others in the world from someone like this?
Why pretend she is innocent of being a bully when there is so much proof that she is a bully. Calling her out for what she is not being a bully, it is literally going against the bully.
And in my case when we were both posting on the open thread she challenged me to post my proof of her harassing and trying to bully me in messages.
So I did.
Bullying is so effective against people that a person/bully can get used to their bullying working. They don’t think twice to offering the challenge of standing up to them. Most people don’t stand up to them. At least not initially.
But one day that ends. And when it does, the bully cries foul.

I am also keeping my fingers crossed that since it is now Tuesday, we will have an update on the contempt situation with Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek and the unwillingness to appear for her deposition by Lauren in the complaint she filed.
People often break the law and aren’t punished. In you particular case, it doesn’t sound like anyone brought charges against the woman for her illegal recording. The manager was wrong and should have been fired, good on the business for doing that, as he was also breaking the law. But it doesn’t sound like law enforcement was brought in, and the manager didn’t sue the woman.
So far, lk hasn’t been arrested and hasn’t had any law enforcement trouble for recording what she did. She may never face any criminal penalties for those recordings. However, she may face civil damages in the form of how the jury weighs her story when illegal recordings are added to the mix.

I’ve been wondering about the claim/counterclaim aspect of this. I think I recall some previous posts that said both claims would be heard at the same time, in front of the same judge, and decided on by the same jury.
Do they first argue LK’s claim against MB, SGF, etc.? Does the jury render a verdict on that claim and then they do arguments regarding MB’s counterclaim against LK?
Or do they argue LK’s claim and then immediately argue MB’s claim before everything is turned over to the jury?
I am assuming it is the latter because it doesn’t really make sense to do it otherwise due to the possibility that points may be made during counterclaim arguments that could possibly have affected the jury decision regarding the claim.
Also - how do they refer to the litigants during a claim/counterclaim case? Do they consider them as “Plaintiff/Defendant” all the way through? IOW, is MB considered the Defendant even in the counterclaim part?

When JK, etal., were compelled to produce documents, does that mean they have to physically get on their phone/computer and literally print off all the communications—emails, texts, SM posts, etc?
How do they produce documents about phone calls? Just print out a call log?
(Oops, a follow-up). How does the court know JK gave them everything? Do they compare it to other’s phones that were confiscated?
