You know, this is what’s interesting…from someone crowing about being contacted to be interviewed on some podcast or something, rumors early on of a movie or book deal, to promising bombshells on 48 Hours, constantly posting on social media, etc, to suddenly become shy when 48 Hours came calling. 48 Hours had spent months interviewing others and planning the episode when Miss Kanarek had a change of heart with restrictions! After all the SM bs from Miss Kanarek for 3 years plus her nasty comments on the YouTube chats, everyone already knew what this woman is like. Why go sweet and demure now? I think her strategy backfired based on public comments after the show. She and daddy can’t seem to catch a break as far as public opinion! Aww.

I am also surprised she didn’t film at her facility with her own horses. The name of the facility was never mentioned on 48 Hours and there were no recognizable shots of the facility so what was the big deal? I don’t get the allusion, unless her facility refused to allow access.

[Her current barn] likely refused access, as they are a 24/7 business with paying customers and a routine. When a TV crew shows up for location filming, it messes up everything and there’s all sorts of problems. LR is such a place that they just stuck LK in a corner with adult supervision for that bit with the horse and the crew were in and out in short order, doing the actual interviews inside, somewhere else.

Has anyone anywhere at anytime even remotely alluded to using the YouTuber Dr Grande as an “expert witness”.

I was just using that as a gauge of what others think of his credentials. Perhaps others are more impressed with his credentials that I am, but recognize his credentials don’t put him in contention to be considered as an expert witness.

I wonder if someone on COTH “requested” he analyze the case. It appears the video was posted on the thread within minutes of his publishing it. Also, while most of the info could have come from the 48 hours broad cast, there were a few nuggets here and there that sounded COTH-specific. Hmmm.

I don’t know why you keep banging on about this expert witness thing. You’re possibly the only one interested and/or concerned with that. The video was posted as, “Look at this guy’s take and the comments of the viewers.” Sure his credentials aren’t most impressive, but I don’t know why you look down on him like the sh*t on someone’s shoe when he’s likely far better educated on the matter than you are? Yes, where you get your degrees from matters, especially in some career fields. I generally don’t sneer at others that have sought out higher education though. Sometimes people are limited due to financial resources, time, family, or other logistics and that determines where they study. I don’t care if his statement was hollow, or somewhat hollow, it was “safe” to say and entirely possible that he meant it after reflecting over the matter for awhile. Imagine that.

I did not say I considered him “the sh*t on someone’s shoe”. I said I was not favorably impressed by 1) the content of the video itself, 2) his credentials, or 3) the depth of insight expressed in the comments. All three aspects seemed sort of on the same level.

She also said when posting it that the expert had no connection to her. But the expert takes requests, and I do suspect Eggbutt or someone from the mob requested he make a video on the case. Several people noted it contained COTH type “facts”.

Remember Eggbutt’s post immediately before the Krol hearing? She said something along the lines of “on the basis of absolutely nothing, it is my understanding that MB is on absolutely no medications.”

It turns out her “understanding” was correct. Not surprising. However, the assertion that she formed her “understanding” on the basis of “absolutely nothing” is a lie. It’s one more instance in which she has demonstrated that she has an information pipeline from the inside. Why bother denying it?

If she had left off the “this person has nothing to do with me”, I’d more readily believe that Dr Grande chose the topic without prompting. But the denial “this person has no connection to me” is so reminiscent of “I say this on the basis of absolutely nothing” is what makes me suspicious.

Now she’s telling us that she has witnesses to the amateur owner client agreeing to let Barisone ship her horse to Florida in contradiction of the woman’s own first person statement. I don’t believe that either!

On Barisone’s statement, I agree that his statements are constrained by the impending civil suit as well as his current mental health. His saying that “I’ve been told” I shot her comes further in acknowledging what he did than some people here can manage.

Ekat has stated that not only does the civil case start from scratch, but that she thinks Barisone’s side will actually try to relitigate whether he shot her and whether it was self defense. I doubt they’ll try to relitigate it. I suppose they could also relitigate whether he was insane at the time, but there the fact that he was committed in the Krol hearing seems supportive of the view that he was.

Seeker and IM have inside information and have always acknowledged it. The reason IM was my favorite poster is partly his inside information.

But he would never try to deny the information came from an insider source by saying “my understanding is that [nugget of inside information] and I say this on the basis of absolutely nothing”. The inside information provided by Eggbutt was true, the disclaimer was a lie.
