MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

I certainly hope this being done on a contingency plan and no one actually handed over $ for this….

LK doesn’t work. She has all the time off in the world. She has no children. Childcare is therefore not an issue. The dog can be boarded at a kennel if they have no friends. The horses are all stabled at a boarding facility. LKs traveling to NJ for the case SHE started due to what SHE did after her CHOICE to move 1300 miles away does not rise to the level of any accommodation and I would bet the Court will be offended by the unprofessional papers filed as well as the flimsy Covid excuse. Were I the judge I’d see her request as a manipulation so that nothing as trivial as travel for her own case interferes with her drug use.

I’m honestly shocked they went with the same lawyer. I would have departed ways after he insulted the jury. I’m wondering if options were slim, however, and who would be willing to take on the case with as much as it’s already been sabotaged.

I have the feeling what you would do and what she would do are miles and miles apart.

There are a lot of instances where someone could say (about their own experience), “This could happen to you.” Not the case here. I would never in a million years behave the way LK has.

I guess it’s good to know NJ is more of a hotbed for Covid now than it was in April. Plus, did I read somewhere that all modifications are being lifted for the courts in the immediate future.

The idea that Nagel couldn’t understand the significance of the horse photo is all I need to know about his legal common sense.

My cousins live in NJ. I spoke to her this morning. They went out to dinner on the Jersey shore last night. Not a single person was wearing a mask, not even waiters. Not a single tourist, not a single child. It was as if Covid never existed.

Thanks for explaining it. Does he think he can persuade the judge with his wording in this document. If I were a judge, it would annoy me and would definately not help that side’s case.

I mean, FL has been at the front end of stopping COVID all this time, right?

And yes, as of today, social distancing and masks in courtrooms in NJ is over. That will make appearing for court in the case she filed super scary!

Good point. I hope this judge does take a moment to watch Lauren’s animated testimony during the criminal trial. Covid certainly didn’t seem to be bothering her frame of mind then. Didn’t she feel comfortable enough to nap while waiting to be called?

We did get a preview of this filing yesterday via CH.

So, I’m over here on the west side of the country. That would be less restrictive and more scary than Florida? Asking to be sure I have this right.

I mean, :woman_shrugging:

I keep reminding myself, this is the guy that called the last jury insane on TV.

It seems no one cares about Covid in public. I do and am traveling to a conference in Oklahoma end of the month. It’s a must be on time situation so between plane flight cancelations and Covid I’m driving.

And IM and Seeker were not on either….

Most people have never cared about it here in the great Southwest.

Drive safely!

Imagine Lauren’s White Shoe Top Five Global Attorneys reading that thrown together filing. Tsk-tsk.

Maybe the other attorneys should include that video clip of him calling the jurors insane in their next filing.
