I have a general question for the attorneys. When someone has a legal case that can get extremely costly, how do they usually set up payment plans for clients that aren’t extremely wealthy?
I have heard of different types of attorney liens. In the event of a civil case, is the attorney lien protected against any judgements against the client? In other words, are they paid first?

Are you going to discuss the upcoming trial anytime soon?

Right after you finally do and for sure when the next filings are posted. But it appears your current preference is to chastise everyone else posting. Maybe you should consider taking a break from this particular thread until there is new news to argue about in the civil trial OR you can be like another poster who is still debating the meaning of the criminal trial!

Yes that is what they have said and they also continue to maintain they don’t believe IM is JK. That’s okay and certainly their prerogative, but the repetitive posts arguing about whether IM is JK seem to be provoking snark responses from several who are tired of it. No one cares what they think about IM. They certainly have confounded most posters with their embrace and defense of the Kanarek family, which makes some inclined to believe they are related or personally know them regardless of their denials. I came up with this opinion simply by unemotionally reading the responses to the two specific posters.

Be responsible for your own posts and responses. No one is arguing the JK is not IM just that it’s not verified or proven. If you are snarky in a post you own it. No one is making you post here or post in a certain way.

48 Hours may have stated it, but that does not make it fact. Show me where there is any conclusive evidence that proves MB took the gun from the safe and brought it to the farmhouse. Not speculation, or assumptions, or belief, but proof.

48 Hours also said Lauren just recently began riding again. We know that isn’t a fact either.

The comment about RG and JK resembling each other is not gross? Why did your mind go to a gross place? It is JK who has said he is RG’s “guardian”. Huh? Why does RG need a guardian and why is that person JK? Rhetorical question.

Sidebar from the current discussions regarding board contracts and LE testimony at the criminal trial.

I have been looking at the timelines @ekat so generously provided the other day (in hopes of trying to figure out a way to make some sort of visual chart - but it’s not going well, so don’t chomp at the bit too much waiting for them).

At any rate - I noticed that there were only a few events in April, May and June, and then things heated up drastically after June 24. For example:
4/3 - LK FB post with veiled warnings or threats
4/20 - LK FB post with veiled warnings or threats
4/26 - LK FB post with not so veiled putdown apparently aimed at MHG
4/27 - Barn meeting with MB, MHG, LK, JK
late May/early June - Symphony arrives at HH
June (date unknown) - MB/Tarshis discussion re getting LK to leave
6/24 - LK FB post regarding surveillance devices, with veiled warnings or threats

Then began an absolute flurry of posts, text messages, etc. (According to ekat’s list, there were 23 separate incidents/activities in July, and 38(!) in just the first week of August.)

So nothing between 4/3 and 4/20. And nothing through most of May and first part of June. Then things started unraveling at a rapid pace in late June.

So what happened in June to cause her to go so completely off the deep end? Is it possible that was when she learned that MB wanted her to leave? And that realization was what drove her to go nuclear and launch a war of retaliation against MB?

It is looking more and more as though MB isn’t the only one that had a breakdown - only hers preceded his by a good 30-60 days.

me too - I too went through this… If I hadn’t gotten sick, because of what my evil ex husband was doing to me, similar, to this Kanareck stuff - I would probably be dead - my family made sure I came back to the states to have my surgery and get away from this person who wanted to crush me and take my soul. the Kanareks are clearly masters at this… they are a scary family - very dangerous. their behavior screams what I went through … it all sounds so familiar …
