Back on topic - I am not sure how anyone can wholeheartedly believe what LK and RG said on the stand during the criminal trial. They stumbled, contradicted themselves and each other and completely blew their own case out of the water - all on their own.

I love how RG testified how LK just lay crumpled on the ground too weak to do anything. Mr. Bilinkas was very careful to question him about all the things LK said she did after getting shot: climbing up and down the stairs, grab the phones, beat MB in the head….and RG was like “no she didn’t……”

I’m not aware of significant discrepancies between their testimony in depositions vs the trial. Minor, inconsequential discrepancies, perhaps.

You know perjury charges have nothing to do with their telling the truth. The more intelligent people of your tribe will know exactly what you’re doing.

Perhaps you should take another look at both bc the discrepancies are def there.

I just want to add that I had just finished being a juror on a 4 week federal trial just before this trial started. I can say that every juror picked up different things from the testimony and every one brought something important to the discussion during deliberations, including questioning some of the witness testimony.

In the case I was involved in the prosecution had done a VERY through job collecting evidence and the witnesses testimony was backed up by clear evidence when ever it was relevant. Because of this a heroin dealer was convicted on 11 out of 12 counts.

In this case the lack of evidence was a glaring hole and combined with the impeached witness testimony I can imagine there was a LOT of discussion in the jury room and I agree with others that the NGRI was a compromise with a couple of hold out jurors.

I imagine the next jury is going to have an interesting time too. Especially since they don’t need a unanimous decision.

Just a majority and we have means, motive, and opportunity.
