One more thing before I go grab a sandwich. As we get older, in some ways we soften and in other ways we get more firm. This is due to the experiences we have gone through in our lives. We have learned from our mistakes. We have celebrated our successes. The thing is, LK has not learned a damn thing from her mistakes, not a damn thing. Except that she can go on terrorizing people who she regards as a piece of crab on the bottom of her shoe all due to not getting her way. I put a lot of blame here on her parents for enabling this behavior. But I also wonder what goes round and round in the ticker tape of LK’s brain for her to think this behavior is ok??? I really would like to know a proper diagnosis.

Wow @ekat, the last two sentences of that long post are certainly interesting with the information we know now.
And here we have been told time and time again that Jonathan Kanarek/@Inigo-montoya is a source of truthful information by some.
But there is that darn box marked yes.
I also found this line interesting because even they admit that they did not pay more for more horses.

That whole post just boggles my brain, especially knowing Jonathan Kanarek wrote it. So many things contradict Lauren Kanarek’s manifesto, for example.
And…push a button to switch MHG for MB in prison will always confuse me (and is further evidence that the Kanareks aren’t so afraid of MB, but I digress).

So if a verbal complaint, then the report form was filled out by an SS representative. And I doubt those people check “Yes” for the question regarding allegations or concerns about child abuse/child sexual abuse, without having good cause to believe the complainant is in fact alleging that. I am betting that sometime during that conversation with SS, LK made pretty clear insinuations that MB was “abusing” minors - and in a deliberate attempt to get him in trouble with SS and CPS.
I am also assuming that the investigator asked for more specifics, which caused LK to suddenly become worried about possible repercussions to herself, so she tried to downplay her allegations by commenting that the abuse was verbal instead of physical. But too late, she had already led the investigator to check “Yes” to the question about child abuse - and thereby triggered the call to CPS.

There is no way to know whether the gun in question was even in the safe at that time. It could have been removed by someone at any time since MB put it there for safekeeping. Perhaps removed by someone who boasted about having access to the office and making odd Facebook comments about a “missing gun?”

IIRC, LK testified that she is seeing an Addiction Councilor and a Psychiatrist.
Maybe they are just trying to keep her off street drugs and already know you can’t fix narcissism.

Not unless we are living in Minority Report where you can report someone for potential future crimes. She didn’t report to SS that she was worried MB might become violent at some point in the future and that the kids might in the future be at risk of physical abuse. The report indicates a concern they were being abused at the time. Which they weren’t. And there were no grounds for her to suspect there was any abuse. She lied in her report to get SS to take action. It was a false report.

Can you explain how USEF or SS is responsible for what went down? Seems like completely unrelated other than the reports made, but they can’t intervene in personal affairs. What am I missing?

I agree. I’m guessing that’s what the judge will do.
The judge might also reduce the scope of the material that needs to be handed over.
As I understood it, IM was referring to an answer in a follow up phone call, not the answer to a broad question on allegations or concerns on a form.
No, you don’t have to spout vile abuse at others online over something that doesn’t even involve them in real life to get your point across. Not necessary at all and I am surprised you would support that.
Everyone in this thread needs to try a little harder to discuss things without insulting each other.
Posters, I encourage you to read your posts over a few times before hitting reply. Is the extra snark at the end needed? Is it because you want to understand whats happening in the case or is it because you just hate that other poster so much for not agreeing with you?
You can still discuss things and be nice while doing it.
