MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

Yep, the jury agreed with Dr Simring and Dr Hassan. Glad you did too. We all agree that on August 7th, 2019, Michael Barisone was suffering from a mental breakdown.

But, I have no personal knowledge about his state of mind now. Do you? Is it not even a little possible in your world, that three years later, he’s found to pose no threat to himself or the public?

We can all guess. I guess that he poses no threat to anyone and that if he ever gets his first mandated hearing he does, in fact, walk on out of Ann Klein. How he celebrates, I have no idea.

You know the jurors’ names are part of the public record, right? That’s no reason for a mistrial.

I am so intrigued by this. I waffle between he’s cooperating or he hasn’t been served yet. I’m leaning towards cooperation.

I lean that way too.

I mean, why would they not serve him yet?

See, that’s what I’m thinking. Written discovery was supposed to be complete I think August 2nd. So if they wanted records from him, they would have requested prior to then. Which leads me to believe he gave them stuff. Unless they are just waiting to depose him.

Flowchart, for those that need a picture to understand how Krol Directives work.

@ekat - let me know if I need to correct anything. (I didn’t include anything regarding permanent/long term commitment as I doubt that will come into play in this instance.)

Edited to add that everyone should please note that no treatment takes place until after the Court Decision (indicated by the green decision block in the diagram).

That is beautiful. Seriously.

I’m addressing this separately because - wow. I don’t think anyone here thinks “he faked it.” I think most of us all are horrified by the lengths we know about that Lauren Kanarek went to, and has bragged about, up to and including while sitting on the stand under oath, to “finish the bastard”. I speak for myself, but maybe others agree, that it’s incredibly sad that she proudly tried to and did succeed in breaking a man.

But that doesn’t mean he’s a threat to himself or the public now.

That’s not what I remember being expressed by IM. He said he thought it was clear that “he shot her”, so that the verdict would be either G or NGRI wrt LK. He said he thought turning down a plea deal was highly risky because you never knew what a jury would do. Even successfully achieving the NGRI that Barisone pled to is risky, because, well, this.

Is IM a Kanarek? Asking for clarification.

RG stops an active shooter thereby saving himself, his girlfriend, other people in the vicinity, law enforcement, and saves the shooter from killing anyone and being shot by arriving law enforcement and is sued and charged. Somehow don’t see this happening.

So, you lean towards he hasn’t been served yet, or he’s ignoring subpoenas like Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek and we’ll seeContempt motions re: him soon?

You don’t think he’d willingly comply with a subpoena?

Even you? Doxxing? Seriously?

HUH? I am not doxxing anything or anyone. I’m trying to understand CH’s response. Eggbutt said:

CH responded with:

I don’t understand how that is an appropriate response to what Eggbutt said, and was asking for clarification.

Sorry I didn’t make myself clear.

I agree. The methodical plan she had to break him and his business, the constant harassment and terrorism, driving him from his own home, false allegations, reports to city inspection departments, students looking for barns to temporarily move to until the two despised individuals were gone, having to hire security to keep his family and property safe from the terrorists was enough to break anyone. But a couple of these posters think they know better…right.

By the way, I know of no one who thought Michael Barisone was faking anything. Furthermore, one of the most renowned psychiatrists in the country, didn’t think he was faking. By the way, Dr Simring made the state’s expert look like a buffoon. Don’t you recall how IM was so put out that I knew Simring would be the defense expert? What a shame he didn’t pay attention during one of the last hearings when Taylor himself mentioned Simring. Speaking of Dr Simring, it will be interesting to know if he will be present for the Krol hearing and if he will participate in the civil trials?

IM has been wrong so many times his word means nothing to me.

Personally, I think LK drove MB to breaking and then he was attacked and various parties suffered injuries as a result of the pile on assault and that it was during that assault the gun discharged either accidentally or was drawn in self defense of MB or by RG as attempted assault.

I believe this jury will see it that same way too.

Hilarious! Thank you for a good laugh! I would want you as a neighbor!

True, I mentioned Kanareks not IM. CH made an interesting leap, didn’t she?

I don’t know him. I don’t know.

My bad. I thought the highlighted statement was a response to whether or not Rob was cooperating with a subpoena.
