MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

I’m with @skydy. What is going to get this thread shut down is entertaining discussions that have been hashed and rehashed ad nauseam with a select few who clearly enjoy stirring the pot and poking bears, and expecting a different outcome. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I myself have fallen prey to this, but am really trying to stick to using the ignore function and/or scrolling on by (when they are QFPd or ignore doesn’t work). I appreciate that it’s frustrating to see what is apparent willful ignorance and misinformation being put forth here, but the ignore function works wonders for that (when it works!)… and trust me, any observers reading this will immediately see who is being rational and not.

The ball is finally rolling with regards to the civil suit and many of us are eager to follow that and discuss what it all means… and the vast majority of us want to hear from the legal eagles so we can make sense of it all. It would be a shame to lose that ability because of a few people trying to derail said conversation.

I told my OH I was going on a girl’s jolly with a friend to a stud in Spain as she was buying a horse….nope I engineered the whole trip and bought the horse, well actually agreed to buy two
Not divorced, phew!

Actually I proved it at the time.

I don’t expect you to admit it.

You’re still confused on many legal things. So be it.

I’m with you!

Are the subpoenas found on the website, or just motions?

This was problem #2 she was NOT training with MB. It seems that MGH had tried and given up training her and JH, as just an employee, really didn’t have the luxury of firing her as a student.

It seems no one could deal with her! Gee, I wonder why?

Problem #1 was that she absolutely, unequivocally—no discussion or compromise had to live on the property where her horses were boarded.

And you can’t convince me that it didn’t have to do with her drug use/addiction management.

I concede that she now lives off the property in FL, but she does have an efficiency apartment on the farm.

No she wasn’t. She wasn’t putting in the work, so she got downgraded to MGH, then Jason. They didn’t want to teach her either. That’s why she was so mad.

If Lauren’s suits are dropped, dismissed, whatever, can/will Michael, SGF, RC proceed to sue her for recovery of legal fees and all damages?

I think she lives off property in fla because daddy bought her a house. Otherwise she wouldn’t have a place, because people don’t rent to folks with bad backgrounds.

Technically, per RG’s testimony at trial, she never actually trained with Michael. It was always MHG and JH.

And yes. She testified that was part of her dissatisfaction with the situation.

Normal people leave when a situation isn’t fulfilling your expectations.

We only see them when someone ignores them like Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek or it otherwise is disputed, like Lauren’s for the in-person deposition.

Justin?

If MHG and JH were assistant trainers working for Barisone’s business, it was still his (Barisone’s) call to end her training with MBD and tell her to leave.

Yeah, I don’t know why anyone thinks any trainer of any caliber will put up with no shows, chronic tardiness, seeming disinterest in training. No trainer has time to put up with wannabes at the expense of others needing their time. In my opinion Lauren has always been a wannabe in everything she has taken on. Had she put the effort into achieving her goals rather than making excuses and attacking others she might have become successful at something by 40 years of age. What a shame her golden ticket will more than likely be a figment of her imagination when the civil verdicts arrive. Ironically, should she win her suits, she will still be nothing more than a wannabe. Who will she blame then?

They rented in an RV park for months before daddy bought her the house.

It astounds me that LK:

  1. Didn’t have a job to distract her
  2. Lived on the same property as her horses and trainer(s)
  3. STILL managed to not show up for lessons or put in the riding time
  4. Was angry that she wasn’t advancing at a pace that suited her (see point #3)
  5. Was angry that she wasn’t getting the time & attention of the business owner and head trainer (despite #3)

All good questions, MorganSecru!

yes, though unless it is dismissed with prejudice, it’s a pretty tough ground to explore. Dismissal with prejudice is a finding effectively that the plaintiff acted irresponsibly or in bad faith. Otherwise, it’s just the legal process taking its course. Generally, all involuntary dismissals that are not for jurisdiction/venue or failure to join are considered dismissed with prejudice.

Yeah, I wonder what she was telling mom & dad about her “progress”? It occurs to me that probably 90% of what Mom & Dad thought of Michael and everyone at SGF is only what Lauren wanted them to believe. Why on earth would she tell them the truth about anything?

Typical of junkies.

Once you factor that in it all makes sense.

This is the sort of useful information for which I keep scrolling through all the fol-de-rol. No wonder JK hired a lawyer for Lauren to deal with the tenancy issue. The clock - it was a-tickin’- and he may have known as much.
