My father left the family dairy farm at about the same time, and lied about his age to get into the Navy. He wasn’t quite 17. He was a Navy corpsman in the Pacific theater, including Guadalcanal. His early assignment was to administer morphine to mortally wounded soldiers who could not be saved. Can you imagine doing that, at such a young age? Toward the end of his life, my father revealed that those images haunted him in his dreams. He blamed himself for not being able to better assuage their suffering.

That goes for all the insinuations that various posters are so-and-so, as well as all the rage posting and sh*t-talking by one particular individual. And the endless circular arguments by certain other individuals who sometimes find a way to tag Mod1 because they feel slighted that others don’t agree with them.
Yes, if they had IM’s login credentials, they could log in as him from any device anywhere there is an internet connection.
I was postulating in a previous post that if IM didn’t log out of the forum, someone else with access to that device could make posts attributed to his username - an action I wouldn’t put past a certain someone.
I used to do the crossword puzzle when I still got an actual physical paper. I made a morning routine out of reading the comics as well. Sadly, those morning habits are gone with the digital age.
That was an example. This is the second time I’ve shared something sad about a friend of mine and had y’all use it as ammo. Well fooled me twice. Shame on me. Taunting over a friend losing their life. Who does that? Oh right. You are not alone.
