Here’s what I don’t get, VHM.

You seem to be OK with someone, in this case unforgettable, baiting and taunting me, but not with me responding.

Could you perhaps train your cohorts not to jab and taunt?

Obviously I can ignore the taunts, and often do, but why am I the jerk for responding to a taunt?

What do you recommend I do? Respond, not respond, flag?

Training is hard. You just have to settle and relax some. Maybe we need to try some ear plugs on you or a soundproofed bonnet. I don’t know about sea lions, but both have REALLY helped my mare lately, and I am getting much nicer, relaxed work from her.

I do have some pretty cool neoprene earplugs I use on my mare. Maybe a smaller version of these could fit in your little sea lion ears. The bonus? They’re waterproof!

Oh look, yet another example of - this has been explained over and over and over and over again for you but for some reason you keep asking the same question.

You know, to save everyone’s typing fingers, it might be easier to simply answer AAA, SU (Asked And Answered, Scroll Up) to alllll of the umpteen posts asking the same questions over and over and over and over and over and over again. I’m sure I left out a few “and over’s”, but you get the drift.

So. I nominate AAA, SU as the all-purpose response to future derailment posts.

I’m not a troll.

I’m interested in the legal aspects of the civil case, especially the comparative and contributory negligence issue, as I think that is the issue that is going to be contested.

I’m not looking for “a morsel of recognition”. I’m posting my opinions on the civil trial on a discussion board.

Well I think it’s good news that TODAY, you want to focus on discussing the legal aspects of the civil case, and you are not looking for either recognition or conflict with other posters on the forum.

But then…only 6 minutes later, you followed this post up with another post…

Sigh. We are going to have to work harder at developing an effective marine mammal training program for you, I think. Some sea lions just take a little longer to train than others, I guess.

It’s OK for you (g) to condescend and mock rather than, say, talk about the legal issues, but I’m a jerk if I push back at your insults, mockery, building of straw men, etc.

Triple whammy if the subject of LK/RG trying to track down the location of those kids online comes up.

Game over at that point, I would think.

As a mother… that one makes my blood run cold.

If I was on a jury, and heard even a minimal INKLING about RG being an active drug user that summer, who also had a background involving multiple arrests for assault… and then I heard that he was trying to track down MHG’s kids, and LK was egging him on?

That alone would persuade me to find in favor of MB and SGF on everything. Because it’s really BEYOND chilling.

Every once in a while, something about this whole case makes me refocus more narrowly on what MHG’s experience must have been like during late July and early August of 2019… and my heart goes out to her, mother to mother. I would have FREAKED if I was on her shoes, and felt the need to get my kids far far away from the whole situation. But for her… that choice at that time would have meant ending her relationship with MB and really limiting her professional career aspirations… and that had to be an agonizing position to be in.

And all of it was because of a pathological and jealous client, who had fixated in a truly bizarre way.

It’s just awful to contemplate.

I’m really glad MHG has found a way to go forward from this, and found some personal happiness, and considerable success riding.

Question. Did MB and MHG know at the time that RG was searching online for the whereabouts of her kids, or was that info revealed later - i.e., during discovery for the criminal trial?

Although no matter when she learned of it, MHG must have been in horrified at the revelation.
