Michael Barisone/Lauren Kanarek Civil Suit

Does anyone really believe it’s actually Jonathan Kanarek posting under the Inigo Montoya alter this morning?

Anyone?

Is that the writing style of an educated, adult man? ROFL

I apologize as I didn’t realize we needed an English to CH dictionary

Y’all. Petty sniping is the reason the threads get shutdown.

True. But I have to say that the procession of CH, HH, IM (or whoever had custody of the log in) and now CH again over the past 24 hours is intriguing….

Legal people….Don’t most settlements tend to include non disclosure? If so, what could be the consequences of posting this here?

People DO lie on the internet.

Also, if RC and her insurance did settle, it was possibly well before so much information has become available. I bet they regret it.

Sponsor? As in Acme Pool Float Company?

I don’t think so!!!

I mean… no, to answer the last question first.

But sadly, it’s not all that different from some of “his” previous posts. Ergo…

Something it seems that you and your child are loathe to ever do…

It is an incredibly STUPID thing to do… so there’s that. IANAL - but even I can manage to understand that…

… or like a pouting 40 year old woman who has apparently never had to be held accountable for anything. A supposedly mature professional man whose family is dealing with serious legal matters (or ignoring them) should not be sneering about jock-sniffers…

Finally caught up and wondering what on earth happened yesterday to prompt all this sad and ill-advised posting.

Long ago I (and many others) advised LK to stop posting just to rage and YELL and spew insults and make threats on a thread - as it would not help her case in any way and she was only shooting herself in the foot and making things worse. Far worse.

Lather.

Rinse.

Repeat.

So very sad.

Some do. Some don’t. I don’t recall seeing many at all.

$167,000+ might buy you a small house on a 1/4 acre in a lower income, not well populated area. Maybe.

Certainly it’s not something to crow about, unless you want to live in a lower income bracket area. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it’s hardly a sizable settlement.

Nuisance settlement amount is all that is. Denotes no guilt or culpability, just that the insurance company wants to get rid of the complaint and it’s cheaper and easier to throw some chump change at them.

The same middle-aged woman/child that @Inigo-montoya supposedly taught the importance of “taking responsibility” to? yanno, because it was SO important to also teach RC that lesson. :joy::joy:

The older woman, with training in psychology, transported and handed over a gun to an insane man who used it to nearly kill someone. He might have used it to kill himself.

The glee may be directed at @Ekat and other here who preposterously claim that LK will be owing the defendants money rather than reverse.

I know I will fell some satisfaction, if not glee, when the trial ends with a large award or settlement to LK.

You are talking about class, VHM? Yet you’re aghast when a poster reports your statements to others outside the forum?

Something that appears to be utterly unachieveable in your bloodline.

Handed over a gun? In whose version is this? Not even in the criminal trial was this a thing.

As for potential judgments: Unlike you, I won’t find “glee” in anything. This is a sick, twisted, tragic situation. For someone like IM to come here neenering, as if holding up the blue ribbon for his prize pig at the county fair, speaks to what this whole thing was about all along.

Money comes. Money goes. Reputations are forever.

LOL. Because RC turned state’s witness and testified very clearly that she handed the gun to Barisone when he said he “wanted to see” the gun.

The state was interested in establishing the chain of custody of the gun. It was not trying to prove premeditation or a conspiracy.

Do people “with class” refrain from suing in personal injury suits when they or their child is shot and nearly killed?
