Michael Barisone/Lauren Kanarek Civil Suit

So if there is actually a settlement with RC, eventually there would be a legal paper trail that would be visible to anyone who knew where to find it?

Thank you for acknowledging that. Then he retrieved it and used it to shoot LK, twice.

It would be efiled on the case info in ecourts

Oh, so you’ve seen the video?! Wow!!

Yes, the trial, on YouTube.

That is one possible scenario. It also possible he searched for it, found it missing, went to house, and soon was engaged in hand to hand combat over it.

Funny, I’ve watched the entire trial 3 times and I have yet to see any evidence of who fired a gun that day.

But okay, you keep doing your assignment, mkay?

Watch it, its excellent!

Yes, they do. What you wrote, however, is an opinion, which doesn’t matter.

She has explained clearly why the descriptor “clueless” might be reasonably applied. Can you just move on already? You’re giving us Yankee Duchess flashbacks

RC gave her gun to be stored safely in a locked safe. Where do you think she should have kept it?

True, given we learned from Lauren’s own posts that she had access to the office and everything stored there. Turns out nowhere on the farm was safe from her.

Yet it wasn’t her who shot anyone.

Can you point us to the conclusive evidence that MB is the one who took the gun out of the safe? Let alone evidence that he’s the one who pulled the trigger? He may well have been, but in the absence of any physical evidence or any credible witnesses it’s impossible to say with certainty.

It’s just as plausible that someone broke into the office and removed the gun before the day of the shooting, particularly someone who was fond of posting taunts about a “missing gun.” If only the police had bothered to secure the scene and collect evidence properly, we might know for sure. We might even have video. But, alas, they didn’t.

I was just clarifying whether, to her mind, referring to me as “clueless” fell in the same category of “shit-talking” as IM labeling posters as “fools”. Presumably IM has reasons for considering some posters “fools”, too.

Apparently whether similar insults are considered “shit talking” or not depends on who is lobbing the insult. I’m not surprised.

If you wish me to move on, why did you just quote me and reply to my post? (Rhetorical)

Really? Where did we learn that she had access to the safe?

My God. You really can’t give it up can you?

The problem I have with that is that LK taunted them about a gun missing from the safe. So, CPS shows up about possible negligence and/or child endangerment; MB checks the safe and finds a gun is missing; in a panic drives up to what is supposed to be an empty house to look for the missing gun; and somehow there is an altercation and LK is shot. (We know he opened the safe but we do not know that he took a gun from the safe.)

Something else that has always bothered me about the shooting, was somewhere at some time, I remember LK bragging that she was so good with a gun, she only needed 3 bullets, and then she reported 3 gun shots. Just one of those things that makes me go, “Hmmm.”

This interested me. Has there been anything to show there was a settlement, other than LK’s announcement?

I thought her response was very clear that “clueless” was an apt descriptor given the circumstances, and not a random insult like “fool.” You can believe whatever you want and continue to ask the same question over and over again in hopes of a different answer. You do you.
