Good to hear that community has been vocal and blowing the whistle for a while. Concerning to hear that the NJSPCA has been hearing from them for so long. Somehow they need to be investigated. I’m not sure how or by whom. But it needs to happen.

For the record, for at least a year and a half the official Standardbred organizations were pushing for those horses to be moved from Monica’s possession. Monica was denied stalls at tracks and thrown off of a training center for her behavior.
Monica is deeply emotionally ill, she had “handlers” up until about 3 years ago and that is when we started to hear the rumors that there was something up over there. I know for a fact several STB people were screaming bloody murder for 2 years over her treatment of her horses.
Monica feeds her horses 50 lb bags of free choice sweet feed a day and with zero exercise. So when the horses do eventually founder, she dremels their feet to nubs.
She shaves her cats whiskers, trims their nails to nubs, and she shaves their feet daily (to stop litter tracking). She had OCD when I first met her, she has what appears Munchhausen Syndrome.
The anger needs to be directed at the NJSPCA who never investigated until it was too late. August of 2013 the USDA and STB Racing groups went to the NJSPCA with videos, pictures, and other documents of Monica’s abuse. They were told thank you and for the next year and a bit, all the SPCA would say is “it is under investigation”. The SPCA is the only body with the ability to have legal authority so let’s stay focused on who failed those horses, Monica for her abuse and the SPCA for not moving until it went viral.
Her workers are all Latino and from my sources, not here legally. They don’t give two cr*aps about the horses just that they are making a lot of money working for a crazy lady. They disappeared and not sure where they are.[/QUOTE]
