More. Kittens. OMG

He has the hugest ears!

When I picked him up from the vet, the tech brought him out by carrying him snuggled up against her, not in his crate. I said, he has a crate, and she laughed and said I know, but he’s so sweet I just like carrying him.

I am not sure where the sweet Schuyler went, though - he’s been a holy terror all night!

He is telling you all about it is he?
I’m so glad he is home and done with the surgery.

Aha!
Schuyler may have found His Person :smiley_cat:
You are looking for adopters, right?

Its great that he is feeling so good! Babies bounce back so quickly. His new face has a handsome, rakeish, devil may care look!

I was hoping - but she already has one cat, and is moving out of her parent’s house soon, and doesn’t think she could handle 2 right now.

Put on your COTH Enabler panties & tell her how little effort is needed for 2, hardly more than 1 needs.
& How they keep each other company…
You know the Drill :sunglasses:
Bonus Points for Schuyler being a kitten & more likely to get along with her cat from the GetGo

Well, he is a little young to be rehomed, but in a few weeks perhaps it may be possible. Keep in touch with the vet tech, send her pics…

Remind us of your general area? (Northeast, mid Atlantic, west coast)

Tell her two is easier than one

Midwest (SC Kansas). Shelters and rescues are FULL. Basically, if anyone wants a pet, they’ve already got 5 or 6.

Well, the funny thing is, the cat she already has is one I gave them (saw him dash across 4 lanes of traffic and went to fetch him), and his name is Hamilton. I told her she HAD to have Schuyler, too!

Damn…I had Mr Yankee sold on a tabby kitten if it was in the mid atlantic…

Hopefully a more local COTHer will have some ideas?

They are INSANE.

Schuyler hasn’t let this slow him down a bit - in fact, he’s more rambunctious and playful than he was before the surgery, which makes me think the eye was bothering him much more than we ever thought.

Stitches are due to be out this coming Friday, believe it or not - amazing, since the last time I had to have this done, it took THREE MONTHS for the site to heal because the kitten kept popping the stitches out. I’d come home and she’d greet me at the door with one good eye and one empty eye socket. GAH .

Ah yes… they continue to suffer in your care :kissing_heart:

So glad recovery is uneventful! Please give them all extra pats from a COTHer (if you can catch them!)

So glad that Schuyler is doing well! I was a little surprised that he didn’t have to wear a cone after the surgery.

Are the little gremlins harassing Hammie and the others?

I was surprised, too, but he hasn’t bothered the site at all, knock on wood!

They harass anyone and everyone. Poor Hammie just wants to lay in my lap and be petted, but they come along and attack his tail. They’re starting to run into the kitchen now, so nowhere is safe!
