I had a baby kitten I raised when his mom abandoned him. I was lucky that he was a good eater. Maybe that is why his mom left him because she couldn’t feed all four of them.
I’m so sorry
Oh no. Poor baby. At least he knew love before he left.
Hope the others fare better. You are a good cat mom.
Well, so far the 3 tabbies (I may have to name them after the Three Tenors) are doing well. Eating, pooping, crying. Like baby ogres.
When your teen mom keeps interrupting your feed time because she needs to be on social media.

Look who’s 3 days old today! They are already starting to display some personality, and I swear I hear purring.
it is amazing when you think that just days ago, they were in their mom. now they look to have greatly expanded. Although it could just be the proximity of the camera.
Three more for your tabby collection!
Yes, well, I don’t need more additions to the tabby collection . . . which sounds rather like a clothing line based on costumes from “Cats” . . .
No, I think I can see them grow by the day!
What do Hammie, Itty Bitty, Maximus, and the others think of the little ones?
This is Armageddon, basically. That’s what they think. Maximus is so mad, he won’t eat.
I guess this tells me that fostering kittens won’t be in my future.
Snickers sympathizes with Maximus. She doesn’t like interlopers either… no matter how little, fat, and completely non threatening they are.
Maybe he’ll come around?
My Sr was blind when I dared to add a kitten.
Middle cat didn’t seem to care.
Old guy would hiss every time she bounce up to & off of him
That lasted about a month, to the point where I thought I made a mistake & should rehome her.
Then I came home one day & her hair was all whichways & damp.
He’d groomed her
From that day on, all was well.
So you have 2 sets of kittens? One set is fed by you and the feral mom is feeding hers?
You have your hands full!
So precious
Well, more or less. The first feral, Tuffy, is taking care of her kittens fine (as far as I know, since she moved them). This litter was born to a second feral Tuesday, and she was being considerably less than stellar at her job, so I’m raising them.
That’s what mine thought the first time, now they are mildly intrigued for about 3 minutes each day and have zero f#cks to give the rest of the day. All of them except zevon, of course. Zevon’s problem is that I’m trying to wait until he is at least 1 yr old before I neuter him (21 days, not that I’m counting). So he goes to the door and sings the song of his people about 3x day. Fortunately Maine Coon cats: BIG BIG cat. Tiny little voice.
