My horrible experiences with Texas horse trainer/instructor Ellen Doughty-Hume

Thanks for that, you covered what I was curious about.

But- did she bring SirO on? I don’t think she did…

She did develop him herself. I rode in a clinic with her years ago and he was a very nice horse then. She has done all the work with him herself, AFAIK. She’s not had a ton of outside coaching/lessons besides what her grant money brought.

AFAIK she’s had Obie since he was a baby. However, I, personally, don’t think i’d call her “capable…” she tends to ride with her hands shoulder width apart and see saw at the reins. You can see this in the videos she posts on her page and also on Instagram.

She just posted this on Facebook

“Looking for an assistant trainer/instructor. Ideal candidate would have teaching and Eventing experience. Competitive salary depending on experience. Super barn with a booming lesson program, opportunities to ride and compete, as well as teach lessons! Lessons with a 4-star level eventer, usdf bronze and silver medalist, usea ICP level 3 instructor.”

Way back in this thread, wasn’t there another assistant trainer/instructor who was heading to Ellen’s program from Oregon or Washington State? Apparently that didn’t last long? Or she got wind of what was going on at Ellen’s barn?

I just checked and she is not currently listed as an ICP certified instructor. Didn’t that get stripped away or was that her Pony Club certification?

I think that the person from Washington is back home now.

As far as I know, she did. But since when has she ever followed the rules? It is absolutely unsurprising that she still advertises herself as ICP certified, considering her record of ignoring the rules she doesn’t like.

Is it possible she just let her ICP credentials expire because she didn’t fulfill the required professional development? Doesn’t make it right for her to advertise it, but would be a plausible explanation.

No.

UGH!

I believe she got one last year and then ended up not going. I always wondered where that money then went.

Things get interesting as EDH sues Stormy for over a $1m in damages.

Stormy Daniels is champing at the bit to destroy a family horse business, of course, of course … according to a new suit.

Omg. Not like I expect TMZ to be the pinnacle of ethical journalism but this is one of the worst hook lines I’ve ever seen, wtf?

EDH was at Rebecca Farm.

If I ran a horse trials I would misplace her entry. And if I were a judge I would throw out her suit against Stormy.

I would love to see EDH questioned by Stormy’s lawyer. ! <3 Avenatti.

I hope she knows what she’s getting herself into filing suit. Discovery might open publicly a can of worms EDH doesn’t particularly want opened! Like all the gory details SD accused her of. Does she really want all those facts to be even more out in public!?
