New decision in Holstein
Well, there is only one Arab cross and three Appy crosses right now so we will just have to hope someone else comes along. The rest are Warmbloods and we all know you aren’t interested in those.

Several posts ago you mentioned that you had gotten OTTBs, twice. That is what I was referring to. I do find your “talking down” to breeders who have actually “walked the walk” makes me uncharacteristically snarky.
Actually, you are characteristically snarky. I can count on it. I’m not sure why you think you have so much more experience than I do with horses in general but if it makes you feel better go ahead and feel superior. I find that the “talking down” by some breeders on here makes me snarky.

My homebred is a warmblood with a lot of blood. lol But you’re right, I’m not interested in your warmbloods either. They don’t look like my type of horse.

I’ve owned 3 OTTBs and seen a lot more. I guess the owned and seen in my original post didn’t register somehow.

It’d be nice to get back to the subject of the thread.
I’d go to the track. There’s a lot of wonderful horses there. I’ve owned 2 OTTBs and they were amazing.

Why on earth would I care about you?
This was the post I was referring to.

So? I’ve been around a lot more horses than I have owned, like most horse people.

I have actually owned 3 OTTBs, but only had the third one for 1 year. The other two OTTBs were amazing, especially the mare that had the foal that I have now.

So, do you have anything to add to the actual subject of the thread? :sleepy:

Can you post pictures of these amazing OTTBs (and the foal) you have owned? I’m not sure if you’ve ever posted pictures, but that could be a way for you to bolster your claims that these world-beater thoroughbreds really do exist, and that they just aren’t getting into the right hands. I for one would love to see them - after all, a great horse is a great horse!

I have already posted pictures, and posted about my experiences. Start looking.

I’m not helping you further because you are, of course, trolling. That’s what you do.

The only surprise here is that you replied this quickly.

Yup, troll. Buh-bye. Betcha that if you look and come back here you’ll come up with something completely inaccurate. <insert waving icon here>

Pictures, links?, pleeeeaaaase!
Of course! Here they are

First one is 6yo Casall x Chiquitin La Silla (Chin Chin x Pilot) x Voltaire x Notaris.

Other one is about to be 3yo (I have bad pictures, he still lives with the breeder). He is Casall x Ephebe For Ever x Carry x Acobat II x Contender.

This is another very interesting stallion, approved for breeding by Casall. He was best five year old in France in 2013.

Oh my… He is very impressive, your 6 yr old. Your 3 year old has the same look about him, though I can’t see as much OF him.

You must be thrilled!

Admittedly I haven’t seen many of his get (and none in person), but from those I’ve seen, Casall seems to stamp them.

I am very happy for you!

Super ! The second one looks exactly like Casall in the face.

Since Casall is mostly not available in the US who are his most interesting/promising sons at stud?
TIA

I am more of a KWPN guy than a holsteiner guy, but I realy like the VDL Stallion Zavall (Casall x Emillion x Cor de la Bryère). From a great Hanoverian dameline. He seems to bring blood and refinement, with a quick action of the forehand. All the youngs I have seen are very cute and refined. He is on my shortlist for sure in 2016.

If you are a KWPN guy…you are a Holsteiner guy by default. < grin >

Precisions, I have better knowledge of the younger genetics in the KWPN than in Holsteiner as I generally follow KWPN events and information medias closer than Holsteiner. So I might not know very well every young superstar coming up in Holstein!

Yes, absolutely. Just making the point that the Dutch warmblood has a very heavy contribution from Holstein. Even Zavall is mostly Holstein blood.

Why would I post pictures for you?

I’m not inclined to help you with anything.
