Why did your charming daughter rush to negotiate dismissal of her suit against Barisone? You paid nothing to your attorney and, if you have all the damaging evidence you’ve said for years that you have, you had nothing to lose continuing your suit. You are not believable. It definitely wasn’t Barisone concerned about damaging info coming to surface.

This may not be fair to you but I’m kinda most disappointed in you. There was a time you seemed to genuinely care about the truth.
The prosecutor didn’t want to use the recordings because his case was airtight…although he always warned us that you never know when you’re gonna get the OJ jury.
Barisone could have taken the stand if he had a story to tell or wanted to claim self defense. Why didn’t he? Of course, by law, he didn’t have to testify but, again, why not?

People here want to blame Judge Taylor for not allowing a claim of self defense. How has not one single “legal eagle” here pointed out that in order to make that claim you need to produce some evidence or testimony? They should be embarrassed.

The defense of insanity was permitted because there was evidence/experts who testified. The defense could not have made a claim of insanity without a shred of evidence. Same is true for self defense…if that’s your claim put on witnesses.

Obviously, the tapes exist…the defense attorneys have referred to them frequently. But I’ll tell you one that doesn’t exist. The one the pathological liar, Steve Tarshis, claims exists. The one that moron says was recorded when he was meeting with Barisone in Barisone’s office. The one that supposedly proves there were recording devices anywhere else besides LK’s locker which was far away from Barisone’s office.
NO! NO! NO! I have no idea where Barisone had meetings with Tarshis. But Barisone then came down to the locker and stall area AFTER his meeting and told MHG and others…“Here’s what Steve told us to do…” And yes, I can promise you there are recordings of that. But absolutely no recording of any actual meeting with Tarshis. The plan to make a bogus 911 call everyday came from Tarshis. What a fine attorney. Who does that??

Meh, you can be, “kinda most disappointed in me” all day long, that’s fine. I do care about the truth. If you don’t believe me, that’s fine too. I’m just over the “show” so to speak. Appreciate the reply though.

I’ve only paid attention to the case for the last year. From the criminal trial onward.

I’m actually very interested in what is on the tapes from the night of 08/06/19. When did LK and RG return to the farmhouse? When did they get up? Did the cameras record all night, or were there any interruptions in the footage?

The recordings covering the night of 08/06/19 should be really boring… right? They came back to the farmhouse, went to sleep, then got up in the morning. Right?

I don’t understand the attraction this forum has for the Kanareks. The thread was very close to dead until this latest filing that has absolutely nothing to do with Lauren Kanarek and would have been discussed for a few hours until the Inigo-montoya poster came to rant and, let’s face it, to give me attention! It’s really comical how strong the obsession about attention and controlling the narrative is with that family. Bravo should give them a contract for a reality show!
