GAS’s motion to compel discovery scheduled for 3/31 also requested oral arguments (box has a definite X there), but the court notice says none requested, none granted, so who knows? It’s NJ.

It’s a bit of a cross pollination, but I noticed that this week in one of the various legal actions against Trump, one set of lawyers had to respond to something by midnight that same day, and the other set of lawyers had to respond to that action by 6 AM, or something like that.

It certainly could not be more opposite the glacial pace we’ve seen on display here.

I would, my friend, but I’m not in the USA and most other countries don’t have ice machines in their hotels. Double bad points - the wine came from a can.

This reads like Kankareks got their attorney on the cheap, comparatively. Either he felt badly about her situation, based upon their sad tale of woe, or he took it as a contingency, and cannot put/justify the number of hours into it that would be needed to get through the mountain of crap. Not that it should matter; I hope that they go down in flames.
