Curiously, if I copy/paste the link to latest, it loads fine.
If I click on “latest” in the hamburger menu, it doesn’t load.
This tracks with the previous behavior–where clicking latest went to an old page, and refreshing generated the current list of topics.
It may just be something getting hung up in my browser, but others up thread were also reporting the old page persisting, so this isn’t unique to me

Alright, I’ve restarted the phone, cookies were cleared, and this issue persists.

I also cannot back into the latest page & have it load, even if it was there before going into a thread.

Okay, this “update” is awful. If I’m new to the forum (I’m not, thankfully), I ain’t stayin’ around! Used to be on the left side of the screen a ‘menu’ where you could click exactly where you wanted to go (ie, forums). That’s gone. Now, whatever area of forum you are in, you are stuck unless you back arrow, which BTW in the ‘app’ is non-existent.
It’s the same way on my iphone. I am on a Windows computer.
It sounds like you’re used to viewing the forum from categories, and you’re on latest.
Is this the view you had before?
I still have that view but there used to be a menu on the left side to navigate other COTH features including forum.
Let me fiddle around a bit, I’ll take some screen shots or something.
Going to the app version (using my computer) doesn’t change anything.
I miss that too, but there is a menu icon up in the top right hand corner, next to the search icon. You can use that to skip to a different sub forum, at least while on Windows computer.

Still, if you were a newbie here… you’d quit before you ever got started. This new version is NOT user friendly.
Okay, I see what you’re talking about now that I’m on a computer. There used to be a “quick links” bar on the left that allowed you to navigate to the magazine from the forum.
Those links do appear to all be available at the top of the page now.
It’s very similar to what other forums and apps are like now I find.
I’m not able to access the Hunter/Jumper forum with this new update. I can view individual threads by finding them in Latest, or using the list of my frequently read threads at the bottom of the screen, but no matter which link I try, I cannot access the full list of Hunter/Jumper topics.
So far, the other topics have worked for me (though I haven’t clicked them all).
I’m using a slightly older Android phone through Chrome, and I can see the ads, but the rest of the page just doesn’t load.

I’m having a very similar issue with the latest page.
No, that link brings me to the same page full of ads, along with a loading circle that never turns into a loaded page.
And what happens when you copy & paste it instead of clicking on it?
The copy and paste actually does work for some reason, but even after visiting the page to load it that way, the links through the forum itself don’t work for me. It’s nice that I now have a link if I’m desperate (thank you for that!), but navigating through the forum casually seems like it’ll still be tricky.
