Yes, I agree. I don’t know why that happens, but I have the same behavior (just with the latest page.)
If you click on the hamburger menu, do you see H/J listed amongst the forums there? You can also click on “Categories” there to take you to the home page. Does the forum not exist for you, or are the threads not loading for you?
In the screen shot you posted on the Horse Care forum, you can also click on Horse Care, which is a drop down menu to allow you to jump to other forums. (In addition the the hamburger menu links described above.)
I can see it in the menu, but when I click on the forum name, the page just loads with ads and a rotating loading circle, without ever showing a list of threads.
I’ve tried accessing it from the hamburger menu and from other links with the COTH forums site, but the only thing that’s worked is copying and pasting the URL provided by Simkie into my browser.
Yup, exactly what I’m seeing too. Any link (latest for me) just gives the spinning wheel. Copy/paste gets the page to load. Clicking into a thread and then back goes back to the spinning wheel.
Clearing cookies started this problem. Prior to that, clicking on latest pulled an old version of the page, which could then be refreshed for the new content. Clicking into a thread and then back went back to the old version again.
Clearing cookies & restarting the phone doesn’t resolve the issue. And this is only on my phone, I have no issues on the computer. Definitely a device, rather than account, issue. I’m running a Samsung Galaxy 21, using the stock (chrome) browser.
Latest was my main landing page & how I navigated. @Night_Flight did you spend the most time on the board in the H/J forum? Or maybe that’s where you were when this new version launched…?
Honestly, I’m not sure which page I would have been on during the changeover.
I usually spend the most time on H/J, Dressage and Off Course, but the last two have been working fine for me.
Hmm, long press on the link & open in new tab = page loading and no spinning wheel.

When I hit reply, the maroon bar that says Subscribe Now is across the box one types in to reply. It covers the first two lines of text. Does anyone else have that problem? Can someone tell me how to make it go away? Maybe I just hit “Return” until I’m below it? Thank you.

Yep, I’m still having that problem, and nothing I do makes it go away, yet. Maybe hitting Return is the workaround for now.
Me, too! For me it covers all the formatting and insertion icons at the top of the compose window, which makes it very difficult to do anything other than straight typing as a reply.
ETA: this is in the DuckDuckGo browser on in iPad, newest OS.
For those wondering about the app, it’s not really an app from Google Play, it’s more like a dedicated web browser/link to the Chronicle forum website. It will look and function exactly like the website because it’s hosted by Google Chrome. If you miss the prompt I think you should be able to get it by going to the Chronicle Forum website in Chrome on your Android, click the Chrome menu (not forum menu), and scroll down there should be something about installing the app.
No complaint, this morning was asked to log-in again, normally I stay logged in.

I like everything, functions well on my old MacBookPro on Safari.
I do think the maroon is not as comfortable as the dark green was and either one could have been a bit lighter?
I too first thought it was black until someone said it was maroon.

I’m feeding feedback from this thread to the developers but haven’t heard much back, although I know they’re knocking off items from a glitch list for the main site and here.

I’m still not able to access the latest page from any link, although copy/pasting the link or opening in a new tab works. It’s the main page I use to view the forum, so it’s irksome.
In clearing cookies repeatedly trying to fix the issue, I noticed that you guys store a lot of assets. Over a GB? Wow!

The dark line with the hamburger and profile icon is still awol this morning until scrolling down a screen’s worth, then disappears again if scrolling a few screens length further down.
I expect a newbie to the site may not find it, I did by chance.
