OMG Truffle has me in stitches!!!
Kicking around using “Cliche” as her show name. Because… black horse called Oprah… mmmhmmmm… cliche…… lol. Mostly kidding.

As a take off on Opie, how about Aunt Bea?
She worked hard 'most all the time and held it all together…
Sarah.
I love the idea of Cliche as her show name… I think it sounds classy, and you could use it as a barn name if you wanted. Although Opie is a really cute barn name that’s she’s probably already used to.
Congrats on your new, beautiful horse!
Dusk is nice, I’ve never heard that.
My mare came with a name that is a dime a dozen. So I renamed her at 7 to Ruais (Rue-ayes). People told me not to but she knows her name and comes when called, so no harm done.
I translated Rhapsody into Irish Gaelic.
Perhaps you could translate names that mean something to you into other languages and see if you come up with something that works.
Dusk Opal could go together as well. With Opal as the barn name.
Oh My
A friend of mine has a mare who looks just like your girl. She’s called Riva. (Said Reeever.)
I love Ophelia as a name… It’s a shame you know someone with a mare named that, I have ALWAYS loved that name.
What about Piper? Or another nod to Shakespeare on a tangent, Titania.
Gorgeous mare! Why in the world would someone name her Oprah?? That seriously sounds like a name my husband would give her. I’m not kidding.
Your husband sounds very much like my SO… I hatched some baby chicks and let him pick one out. He chose the black one… And he named her Harriet Cluckman… He is no longer allowed to name our animals.
Stella reminds me of the dog from Modern Family. And I love that show.
The only name in my repertoire that I like for a horse someday is “Bazinga” (Love big bang theory). But I feel like she needs a little more elegance… but she’s a powerhouse who loves to move and go and work.
Hee hee, my eventer friend bred her mare and named the foal Bazinga. Best. Name. EVER.
Ok I like:
Piper
Riva (considered it for a human baby)
Dusk
Cliche.

I’m an Eventer too. But O will be focusing on Dressage until I have this 3rd baby and she’s in shape and so am I.
Riva is pretty too, but I like it better pronounced the way it is spelled.
I like Sofa. She looks comfy.
Maybe you can play on “O.P.” and give her a show name that is two words with those initials? LOL all I can think of is Order of Precedent. That isn’t very catchy.
She is lovely. I like Black Opal or Black Orchid.
She is gorgeous and a natural jumper. Look at her tucking her knees over that cross rail. Wow!
Ofee
Oreo (black and white)
O.C.
And I like (as someone suggested), Oh My and call her Oh, as you already are.
Beautiful mare. Happy trails with her.
She’s mostly called “O” and “Opie/OP”.
I guess I don’t need to change her barn name as such but I just CAN’T put that on her official stuff. Know what I mean? I prefer Sofa to oprah.
Not Sofa – but what about Sophia? You still have the “o” at the beginning and the “ah” sound at the end.
I’d stay away from Riva or Reeva right now, with the whole Oscar Pistorius thing, but that’s just me. It is a pretty name.
Optimistic Outlook
Opposites Attract
Opera Gloves
Optical Illusion
Opulent
Barn name remains Opie.
Ocala at Dusk
Years ago I got to ride a big black classy mare at Gleannloch Farms, looks very much like your gorgeous girl. Her name was Tallsah, (Arabic, if I recall) for black with a touch of white
Evening Star and Star for barn name
Star to me is light, regardless of color, it is strength, endurance, bring light from the dark…
And, she sounds like a Star in your eyes
