New site GLITCH and PROBLEM reporting HERE

Arrggghhhh, earlier today I twice saw that I had users in my ignore list in my profile but I was still seeing posts. Now when I look at my ignore list in profile, it is empty

I haven’t been able to find the “search” function. Will it be coming back, or am I just not seeing it, or…???

Otherwise, I am liking the upgrade, so far only viewed it on Chrome browser.

OK, well I see a search bar at the top of individual threads, but not for the main forum page or the individual forums (Dressage, H/J, Eventing…) Can we get the search feature to work on all the forums?

There’s a general forum search near the top of the right column. It’s not returning full results yet though. I’ve reported the issue. I’ve also requested a better way to access the advanced search feature.

Hmmm…the multi-quote was working for me earlier, but now I’m having issues with it too. Will investigate.

I’ll definitely covey the requests for a less harsh color scheme (or A color scheme, should I say… – totally agree this is hard on the eyes.)

I’ll put in the request for 20 threads/page instead of 10. That should be an easy fix, though I can’t find a button to do it myself or I’d have taken care of it already!

I’m trying to keep track of everything else.

Is there a SEARCH function for the various categories (DRESSAGE, EVENTING, etc)? I see a SEARCH function for this category, but not in the others?

When I use Latest Activity on the forum home page the list it produces does not include the symbol that shows what threads I have already posted on.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the smart people setting up this forum will be able to come up with something comparable to the Todays post we had before. That was a very easy way to keep up with everything.

Edit to add: I do not remember if I mentioned this yesterday - threads I have read already show the same on the list as threads I have not read. Can they change it so read threads are lighter, like the old forum?

I keep getting a pop up that says something like “Can’t connect to the server” when I click on a page number to change pages.

That’s also what I was getting when it finally got around to doing anything at all on the long threads. On the short threads, it would just pop back up to the very first post.

do not worry even if you can get a poster’s name to stay in the Ignore profile all you get is the posters information to not be shown, their post is completely visible… so at this time Ignore is just a waste of time

and it is a pain as you must individually copy and paste each of the individuals you wish to ignore, before it was a simple click on the poster to add them into your ignore list

It may be helpful to have a locked thread of just what specific updates and corrections are being made so we are not repeatedly posting about specific problems we encounter

Using the latest activity feature takes one to the last post, not the last seen post. And it puts the last post first so you have to then scroll down to find what post you last read.

The page function still doesn’t work.

I have my setting so when i click on a thread it should take me to the last post posted. Well it doesn’t it goes to the first post of that thread. So i then have to go page changing to find last post posted. Well seems to work sometimes and not other times.

Latest activity does not have the thread with the most recent postings on the top of the list. At least when you use the Latest Activity option on the forum home page. It might work that way when you open it in a specific forum. But it seems silly to use it in a specific forum because once I am in the forum the list is in order.

Right now, when I just checked it, the post on the top of Latest Activity (on the forum home page, not inside a specific forum) is a post that has not had any activity in hours (even making up for the funky central time thing).

Glitch from this morning (versus simply not liking how the software is working) - This morning while I was posting (after hitting Post Reply) it spun for over a minute and then came back with ‘Empty Response’ pop up. When I checked (instead of assuming it had not posted), my post was there in the thread but the reply box still had all my typed content in it.

Edit to add: It just did it again with this post.

Today when I post, it churns for a very long time and then puts up a Error “Edit Conversation” and “Empty Response” window which I have to “OK”. The screen does not change, so I’m left with my new post open. But if I click back to the forum, my post is there normally. Running Chrome 47.0.2526.106 This did not happen at all yesterday.

I closed and reopened and it is still happening.

Ok it’s not just my computer having this issue and it’s slow loading response this morning too. Wasn’t slow yesterday.See someone below my post is having same issue.

I am getting a message that the forums are temporarily unavailable. I got here “through the back door”. It seems from the other posts that other people have access to the new forums. How do I access them? Thanks

And just now, to see my post on page 5, I clicked on page 5 and was returned to the very first post of this thread. Had to scroll down (now there are no page numbers) to see that my post is the last post (but also had the pop-up box come up when I posted the previous response telling me I had an empty response)
