Nope. Still have error message — I am using Chrome. And when I do get in manually, the pages are Times New Roman fonts on white background.
Oh, and this is post number 140 ---- all on the first page.

I’m hoping some of the random intermittent glitchy stuff that’s cropped up today will resolve soon when they finishing doing whatever they’re doing behind the scenes. Not only is the forums side totally new, so is the magazine end…and involved integrating subscriptions services, all the user databases, archives, articles, images, etc.
So, they’ve got a lot of balls in the air. I promise you we’ll get all the biggies ironed out.
I know we can get a Today’s/New post search more like, if not exactly like the one on the old site, but I’m not even hitting them with those recommendations yet, though I am compiling lists of requests!
Nuts and bolts big rock stuff first, then on to refining things to customize your experience better after we get a handle on the things that are wonky. Again, just reiterating because I don’t want you to think nothing is happening.

Maybe toss up a screen shot and tell the mods what OS and exact browser version you’re using, so they can help?
I don’t have these issues on chrome on Win 10 or on my Android phone, FWIW.

Mostly on the “quick post” (typing in the dialog box at the bottom), I click Post Reply… it thinks about it for a short time, the ‘in-progress’ on the browser switches to the ‘reload’ icon, I see ‘working’ in a beige box at the top and the blue spinning wheel. If I just click the reload, my post is there. Did have this also happen once when going from one page to the next… page didn’t display, saw the ‘working’ + blue spinning wheel and a reload brought the new page right up.
Frequently/all the time, when I click on a topic to read, the first bit of the progress bar is a bit slow and “hangs” and then the remainder of the page loads quickly. Are the ads perhaps causing that temporary "pause’ in the page load?
Still frustrated that I need to look at the time/date of the last post to figure out which topics I need to go to the first unread post vs topics where I’ve read all the posts all ready.
We’ll see how my profile time/date works after the next DST switch Right now I’m on track with Mountain Time no DST (as AZ doesn’t do DST)
I got a few notifications today on topics that I’d “subscribed” to that someone else replied to and not sure where they are coming from. I have selected only notifications in posts where I was quoted…

I had the same issue. Here’s my solution.
I’m running Win 10 and the latest version of Chrome on a desktop.
Also having the posting error (takes forever, says “working” then get the “empty conversation” error message thing, but then my post is actually there).
The entire forum is slow to load. I commented about this yesterday so this is not a started-today-only thing. The worst seems to be when selecting a forum to enter, as well as clicking on a particular thread.
I also really miss the page count under each thread, and being able to go directly to a page. The “go to last post” is not useful at all if I have to go back page by page to figure out where I left off.
I seem to have single-quote functionality only (I know Mod1 said it’s being worked on).
In settings, if I make changes they don’t seem to take. I selected display modes as COTH-style (there are 2 different ones) and nothing is different. I thought maybe that would bring back the old colour scheme? The grey here is okay but the white is tough on the eyes, I agree.

Tried to change my signature line, since I can now be an evil chem prof under my name and photo and got the following message:

When I updated my profile via iPad, it accepted it and the yellow box went away. But it is still there on my iPhone, even displaying what I entered before on my iPad, but it won’t go away on my iPhone.

On the really large threads (over 100 pages long), there is no way to go to the next page if your notifications have taken you to a post that is not on the last page. The system gets hung up and a server error message comes up.
When clicking on the next page number on shorter threads, the system still takes you to the very first post on the very first page instead of to the first post on the next page.

I found this interesting this morning. The top post (under the sticky) says I was the last poster but there is an avatar that is not mine there. (Clearly this is a trivial issue, just figured they would want to know about it because it might affect other things.)
It’s only an issue when trying to navigate to pages other than the first page of search results, though. The verification was entered so I could get to results, I just couldn’t get past the first page. (At least until I realized I wasn’t logged in)
I went in my user settings and turned off some of the notifications you can opt out of that till glitches are fixed.

No way to read a multi-page thread without right clicking and loading each next page into a new tab.
Why would a brand new forum function worse then the old one?
I’ve noticed traffic is way down. Suspect people are frustrated and staying away.

This morning, I read the new additions to the Flynn thread under Current Events. Then, I clicked on “Current Events” to go back to the title page and the Flynn thread had disappeared, as had the Education thread, which I was planning to read next.
Also, extremely long threads, like the current events thread under Off Topic, have become pretty much impossible to follow. Sometimes it shows me 70 pages, sometimes it shows me 169 pages, but clicking on the “go to last unread post” icom never actually takes me to my last unread post.
The new forum is still extremely buggy and very frustrating to try and read.
Like I said before, I know how much work it is to roll out a huge change like this so I’m not complaining, just informing.

Is there a way to add my signature back to my Profile so it appears in posts?
Tried but can’t find anything in the Edit Profile/Settings that addresses this.
Or are Signatures gone for good?
