'Yesterday" was more than appropriate for Carl Hester!

Agreed.

What happened to Mopsie at the end? Did he hurt his front leg?

Sad for them, too. Helix looks and moves, alas, like a saddlebred or hackney or… a Tuigpaard.

Those are…rather unfortunate screenshots

Yes, and all taken from the first few movements of the test, when the horse was obviously overwhelmed by the atmosphere.

Well I wouldn’t call it obvious but I didn’t watch the test so I have no context. Like I said, unfortunate screen shots.

At first I wondered that but he seemed ok at end of test. Steffan looked disappointed but did not act like the horse felt off. It seemed he just wanted to piaffe or do something naughty.

To my eyeballs he looked off(ish) from the get go and then it seemed to get worse

Old video (2020) looks a lot the same, though lower level test. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2811790212480075

It was along time to hold up his front leg- and he kinda hopped a few steps….

The conformation of this horse’s head and neck is different. He seems short-necked with a more closed connection at the throat latch.

Or just go away :grimacing:

I dislike the commentary. Annoying and inaccurate.

If you have VPN, you can watch the Olympics on ZDF (German station). Commentary is in German though.

Pretty much. Not doing a lot for our SLO.

I am watching it on ARD on the moment
