What woman was commentating on Laura Collett’s dressage ride. She called half pass a side pass.
Traurig just released a statement saying Mopsie was not himself and was being tended to by the USEF Vet

Aww, I hope he’s ok after whatever treatment is necessary. Poor guy looked awful. He’s one of my favourite horses.

These pictures show how the double bridle was supposed to be used, back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
It is SO NICE to see pictures of Olympic dressage riders using the double bridle properly. I had given up all hope about this.

I just watched the ride and honestly just looked like the horse was tense and got stuck in the movement, was about to blow but held it together. It’s sad people are editing the video to make the horse seem as though it’s lame.

Update from COTH article…
Team Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig said the team vets looked at Mopsie after the uncharacteristic performance, and that the gelding is resting comfortably tonight.
“I deeply share Steffen’s disappointment with his ride today, especially taking into consideration what this combination has done for this sport, our country, and worldwide, bringing so much positive engagement to our sport over the past few years,” she said in a written statement about the pair better known outside the horse world as “Rave Horse.” “It became obvious to me during their test, Mopsie was not himself. After returning to the stabling, he was taken care of by his team and our team USEF veterinarian, and he is starting to feel more himself, which is the most important thing.”

Help needed. I can’t seem to find start lists for any of the dressage days. I’m behind in watching and really want to watch certain horses and riders, but all the start lists I can find have converted to results lists.
Any clues on where to find?

I went back and found this. It has score for a batch or two, but it has most of the rides listed in order. In fact, these are all in order of go.

I think most of the English speaking nations got the feed with John and Lucinda. I watched UK/OZ/Canadian and they were all the same.
A loud person. I’ve blocked all content from that site. I notice that “the kids” love her and forward her pages/reels around. It isn’t that she doesn’t have a point…sometimes…but the message is so poisoned by the delivery it completely defeats the purpose – at least for me.

Just going to say - Kudos to the US Team! I’m sure they rode under some pressure and battled some tension likely with themselves as well as the horses. We had 3 team members and one reserve who were quite new in their relationships with their horses. Steffen has a long relationship with Mopsie, but the horse is getting older, and as the senior team member, SP carried even more weight on his shoulders. You could see the disappointment on his face at the end of the test. They all tried their best, but as someone once said “s***” happens.
