Announcers keep going on about how there wasn’t Carl magic…but I think he had magic in pulling that second half of the test out of the horse. Lots of other riders would have gotten tense.

I can’t quite tell - does Wendy look heavy in the hand during passage? Something just look odd, despite the score.

She was tripping a couple of times, and her last tempis got a 4.4 score I think? In general the horse’s hind end wasn’t as active as the other horses though, especially in passage - high front legs but softer hinds.
Very much a race in the medals still! Everything within 2 points at the top 3; Netherlands in 4th very unlikely to make it into medals as it is a 10 point difference between them & 3rd place GB.

Same. They’ve had some issues but it looks like a bit lighter type horse and I really enjoyed watching them.

I’m just going to say that while they don’t get the marks for the extravagant movement, the French horses have gone so light and happy and in my book, they are the clear winners here today.

Based on the scores per movement they were getting, it felt like the judges really wanted them to do well. Was really nice to see that
