I know he worked & rode for Stephex for a while when he was younger. Not sure where/who he trains with now, but in a HH Interview he said he was in Germany.

I know it’s true for the event riders from Japan, but I’d have to double check for the showjumpers - but I think the Japanese riders are seeking guidance from Western riders to get better at the sport, which I personally am very pleased to see.

for some reason, my alarm went off at a quarter of four this morning. It was on my phone several rooms away and it wasn’t loud, but I heard it. I decided since I was awake, I would go ahead and get up to watch the jumping. Well, jumping didn’t start till 7. 
So, I stayed up, and am sitting here watching now. I fell asleep and missed Karl’s ride.
This idiot right here scheduled all my Monday meetings for the morning… and a doctor’s appointment I have to leave for five minutes before the conclusion of the women’s 5000m final this afternoon. Why am I like this?
