Chacco-Blue was sired by Chambertin, not Conthargos. Santa Rosa Chabacon and Chaquito PS were actually both bred by Gestüt Lewitz/Paul Schockemöhle in Germany. I believe Abril Iconthon was actually bred in Argentina though, by Haras Abril.

I would think so too, but I am with @dr5627 that the announcer made it seem as if Mexico can’t qualify.

However, this snip from a FEI article makes it seem as if they were trying:
“It will be Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay and USA who will be battling it out for those precious places when the action gets underway tomorrow morning (31 October) at 11.30 local time.”

I’m leaning towards the announcer being wrong, I think during the Nations Cup Final at one point he (or a different commentator) said it was the USA’s last chance to qualify but obviously here they are at the Pan Am games.
