Who rode???

Center Of Attention
Farnley Tribute
Lucky Me
Special Effects
Fancy Star
Jordache
Llandfalle Lady Slipper
Glenmore’s Best Shot (this one should be easy)
Gucci
Touch Me Too
Brownland’s First Light
Brownland’s Third Light
Polaris Masterpeice
Polaris Starship

that’s enough for now… they all had multiple riders so you have a few chances.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yep. Kennedy Prentiss had her and the grand pony hunter championship trophy at Middleburg is named after the pony (donated by the Prentisses aka “North Cliff” formerly “North Wales”). Taylor O’Malley had the pony recently until it was sold a year or two ago, I don’t remember who has her now though.

formerly Emily A My karma ran over your dogma.

Cloth of Gold-also Allison LaJoie, Gabby Applegate, and was doing the short stirrup at Indio
Strike A Pose is still going. Sophie Applegate is riding him now.
Stars and Stripes- Jordan Lubow
Budweiser is still going. Olivia Eese has him now.
Ice Castle- Maja Lindemann, Ashley Means. She DID remeasure as a large a few years ago. I think she is doing the childrens ponies now.

Bayfield’s Cinnabar was donated to the Andrews School in Ohio-shared a trailer with my pony over there.

Dabble Do Ya is owned by Erin Stewart, we was leased to many other riders over the past few years. Last year to a girl in VA. He is a large paint and since he is only 13ish, and AV is in his mid 30’s, no way it is the same pony.

By my calculations, any pony that he showed, even in his last junior year, has to be at least 20 right now.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>Here is a pic. I thought the Clines were leasing him!No wait that is Daphne-Doo

I sooo came into this thread 23 pages late… But just my 2 cents:
I remember
Yes I Can with Jaime Auletto also
Glemore Heart’s of Gold with Shaunnessy Reidy

Tim Sweeny was a trainer up here for a while, but I think I remember him moving to FL. He was a funny guy and he gave me my nickname of “Hiccups” cause I used to hiccup ALL THE TIME when I was showing really loudly! LOL I’ll never forget that guy…

Disco Duck, as far as I know, is still living happily at my former trainer’s barn in PA. A tiny, tiny bay small with an adorable dished white face and a couple white socks… She used him for leadlines and stuff.

Penny Whistle was owned by Rebecca Rotkiske, who I was friends with for a while but have since lost touch with…I wonder what she’s up to… She also had the pony Low Profile who I just knew as Pro and Large Junior Blame It On Rio

Eric Daly did start Rainbow Connection.

Does anyone still know the Froman’s??

Flirtation Walk, Tickled Pink, She’s Got Dots, Highfields Fancy Footnote, Galen Mica, Rainbow, and Nilla Wafer were some of my faves… Obviously, I love colour! Great thread guys…I can’t believe I read it all!

what ever happened to Code of Ethics? Chestnut large with a blaze and some socks if i’m remembering correctly. came to an old friend with the name of Cody, but changed it to Pody since there was another Cody in the barn<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Code of Ethics was in New Orleans with Carly Boos in 1995 or so. Don’t know after that.

Wow, I actually remember some of these ponies. And I’m saying that only because I rarely ever got to show as a kid.

The barn I was at however, housed two of those ponies for a while, Lucky Me, and AM Star Spangled Banner. I remember Alicia Marenzana too. Star SPangled Banner I actually got to ride once or twice and wow, what a nice pony. But what a pill to catch in his stall. Fun, memories.

pillow talk - i think Liza Towell showed this one some.
highfield’s ever lovin - Darren Graziano right?
paragon - Michelle Conway, Marlo Polanski, I showed a few times and at Washington one year.
set sail - Ray Texal

Has anyone heard of Aaron Vale’s old pony named “A Little Dabble do ya”? a woman at my barn owns him now…Aaron rode him his green year i believe. He is a large.

Llandfalle Lady Slipper
Slipper is still at my farm in New Jersey. She is retired and loving it. I bought her in like 1987 or so from Canada, she had never had a saddle on her or anything, for less than $5,000! Anyways, Laurie Ivan rode her, then Caity Thomas, me (lindsey Phoebus) Jill Betuker, Ashley Baker and Slipper was with the Gondas briefly. I too remember that horrible day at Washington. We got Slipper measured that day, but decided no one would ever stop bothering us so we moved her up the following year. She proved to be an even better medium then small! As I said she is retired in Nj and we are thinking of getting a surrogate mare and breeding Slipper to my stallion Jupiter.

I also remember the Highfields ponies. Murphy actually lived at my house for awhile with the Nancy (the mare all the Highfields ponies were out of) I owned Highfields Fancy Step who is now in California in a Handicapped program.

I also had Zims on Parade (Pumpkin). I leased him from Amanda Forte. He was a great pony and taught me a lot. Unfortunatly, he passed away a few years ago.

This thread is great! It brings back so many memories!

~Lindsey

Is Rollingwood’s Picturesque an almost black large mare with a large white face? I know a large pony called Picturesque and wasn’t sure if it was the same pony. I now have Picturesque as a broodmare.

Its Actaully a diffrent pony the pony i am talking about is “A little Dabble do ya” who was ridden by AARON VALE in its green year…which would make the pony WAY older then the dabble do ya you are talking about. The pony we have is not owned by don stewart and never was.

I knew Glannant Harvest, aka Harvey, when he was at the Welles’s Triton Stables in Raleigh. Jeffrey Welles rode him a million years ago, then Shelly Roebuck had him. My daughter Catherine Robb (Pease) showed him many times as Shelley was not allowed to ride on Sundays!

I next ran into him while stewarding a show in Little Rock, Ark… and he still looked exactly the same…but this has been at least 10 years ago.

To tell the truth, I’ve actually ridden him myself! Many moons and many pounds ago…

Hehe, I am addicted and wanted to post some more since I have time-

Turtle Express is forever etched in my memory from the first show I ever watched at WPB, when he went last in the last class(this was before they did classes back-to-back at WPB) and stoped three times, came out, got schooled while the class jogged, then went back first for the second class, laid down a trip that no one could top and won. So I would venture to say yes, he has always had a stop!

That was the same show a little kid got the thrill of her life by getting to jog Tickled Pink! Ha!

Pillow Talk was owned or leased by Marley at some point…he went in and out of Jack Towell’s barn usually, including a stint with Joy Nakrin, who also had Excellence, Peppermint Pizazz, and I’m Justa Kid.

Taylor O’Mally got Whorley after Georgina…someone…whose last name I can’t remember had her. They both rode with a Scoot who last name I can’t remember either! George also had No Deposit No Return and was my hunt team partner at Devon

I remember Shining Moment from when Laurel had her! What a freak talent that kid was! I idolized her. Anyone know where she is now?

Unlock the Magic did pass away this summer.

Charlotte

Maybe I’m mistaken, but I thought that Victoria Grauer rode Espresso and Georgina Bloomberg rode Jet Setter.

Does anyone know what happened to the Theisen sisters Amber and Crystal? I haven’t seen them since we were Juniors.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Last time I saw Crystal was 3 years ago in CA. The family moved there when they sold the farm in Omaha. She was still riding, had many of the old horses still. Only seemed to show at Indio. Amber was in college and wasn’t riding at the time.

They had sold all the ponies, and most of Ambers really nice junior hunters.

Not sure what they are up to these days, but Crystal should be in college, or getting ready to go.
