Wouldn’t be surprised if she had done something to get herself banned. You know the phrase “give someone enough rope and she’ll hang herself?” You don’t even have to give SW the rope; she carries her own wherever she goes.

OK looked at her FB page. Yes, she says the haters called the ME to say she couldn’t film. So that sounds like she broke the ME rules and got turfed and, who knows, maybe had a paranoid meltdown on site.
If someone was effectively able to warn the ME not to let her film, that would actually be ok. Maybe she was coming up to sabotage some frenemy who was riding in a clinic and they alerted security or the clinician.
But generally it’s pretty hard to warn others about problem people until they have their own run-in with them. So it’s more likely she just caused her own problems.

I have it on good authority that she was not actually banned. A clinic participant had her pics stolen (of course) and had a conversation with folks at Mane Event who said not only was she not banned but that they didn’t know who she or DH is.

Um, not being allowed to film somewhere where you aren’t allowed to film isn’t persecution.

Hah. Of course they wouldn’t know what DHub is. That’s why it would be impossible to get her banned, it just comes off sounding like a squabble among girls on FB.

FYI for everyone to know… I am here at The Mane Event as my horse and I participated with Shannon in a couple sessions and did a couple demo sessions with the IBEWA…
i have talked to the office about the claim she was banned from the Mane Event and that is in fact absolutely false. In fact they had never heard of her or the Dressage Hub page… and were quite interested to in hearing this news… and asked for a screen shot…
& she has also stolen an image to use with her post… that photo was taken by and posted by Inhand Equine Therapy and is in fact of me and my horse…

I am going to make a comment, and it won’t be popular. Good judgement tells me I shouldn’t get involved here, but I’m going to anyway.
I know a little bit about this person from other threads. I am not doubting that she has done some things that are offensive or what have you. Where I have a problem is with this discussion taking place on COTH and the mods allowing it. It’s basically just a slew of personal attacks, much like the NP posts that I also didn’t like.
Look, if SW was a coth member and on this thread, if she reported this to the mods, they would either remove stuff or close the thread. However, there seems to be an unwritten rule here, that if someone isn’t present on the thread, you can just bash away at them.
It’s not right what is happening here, and it’s catty.

She is also posting about all this undet her own name on her own FB page, which is open to the public. So she is putting this stuff all out in public and wanting to be a public figure.
So since she has waived all privacy I don’t think we are violating her privacy.
She started her own COTH thread a few weeks back that seemed to be an attempt to manipulate a legal dispute she was in. And she is reading COTH and referring to it online as driving up her clicks, which is likely true to some degree.
So if she likes the notoriety and isn’t complaining, I don’t see who is being hurt.
The world gets warned and SW gets clicks, attention, and is happy. I hope that doesn’t break any rules!

Ok, so her posting falsley that.she was banned has drawn attention to her stealing an image and also perhaps some further attention for lying about a fairly crisply organized commercial operations. Of course things posted here are read by SW so hope you have the screenshot!
Talk about creating your own problems.
I do think this is a valuable thread for the Canadians who are going to have to be dealing with her now.
It may seem.petty to Americans who have seen the end of her, but its of real interest to people in Alberta in particular who will want to avoid the kinds of issues she has been involved in previously.

SW makes regular visits back to Edmonton area to see friends and family. Maybe she has been using someone’s address there to maintain her Alberta Health (free coverage) coverage. Actually as long as you don’t stay out of the country for more than six months you remain covered (as in snowbirds) so doubt this is more than a vacay and she will be back in “pony paradise” soon stirring that pot again…

Please. She also claimed she got death threats and escaped on a private jet. Do not believe anything this woman says. I can’t imagine anyone in the booming metropolis of Red Deer, let alone the organizers of the Mane Event, would care if sh was there. Unless of course she was videoing clinic sessions, which is against their rules, or she was filming riders who had asked her not to, which is why she got banned from filming at Global.

Worth quoting for the benefit of anyone who thinks this thread is unfair to her or that she somehow deserves sympathy. If a TBI is causing her to act [this way] then sure, I would feel badly for her but by all accounts this behaviour pre-dates her accident.

I don’t think she deserves sympathy, but stooping to her level of bullying just adds more fuel to her fire and can weaken a case against her. I certainly don’t believe her, I say let her cause her own messes, no need to help.
I don’t think she deserves sympathy or that the thread is unfair. I do think that since this is a very large thread and lots of people read it we need to not suggest that people stoop to her level. Rise above it. Her own behavior gets her in enough situations as is. I’m fine with people calling out her actions when she is making things up or bullying people.
The internet is a crazy place and I’d hate that a thread like this gave someone on a keyboard license to act badly, there is no need to add fuel to her fire.
I haven’t seen people stooping to her level here. Everything that’s been said about her is verifiable on her various social media platforms once you draw the links. Other stuff like she burned her bridges in Canada before moving to Florida have been confirmed by more than one poster.
Given the level of craziness going on, the discussion IMHO has been very low key. Maybe that’s because there’s so many Canadians in the thread 
Or that unlike a lot of craycray threads there actually isn’t a live horse being mistreated at the center of it, so less upsetting.

The people SW publicly bullies, slanders, and steals photos and videos from are also someone’s sons and daughters. Not sure what your point is there and not sure how cool it is to google her family’s names and post them here.
