Getting to the forums has been suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper slow for me for at least a week, but about 50% of the time. Sometimes the page loads right up, other times it takes legit 5+ minutes. Not my computer or internet, I can access any other website normally while COTH forums are trying to load.

Old news but just wanted to mention that the forum has gone back to being silly slow again. This problem had resolved itself (mostly) but I am now having problems with it timing out when I go to change pages.
Prior to today I was one of the people that could see the smiley faces, now I can not.

Same here, all day yesterday, could rarely get in, read for a few minutes, then hit the blank page quirk.
Still at it this morning.
Me three… it’s been decent for quite a few days and yesterday started being a pill again… and now all my smilies are ‘gone’ (I had one left for awhile).
Same here – it’s taking forever for the forums to load on my PC, almost all the time. Other websites are fine.

Ditto. Sometimes very, very slow to the point of timing out, and then an hour later it’s fine only to slow down again even while I’m on the site.
And for some reason an innocuous post I made got flagged on the weekend, needing approval. Would like to know what I did to trigger the algorithm so I can avoid it in the future.

All gone. Can’t even type them in - typing them in doesn’t even get the characters to show up, much less the actual graphic

This morning, page load performance has been as desired. However, went to one page and got a Bad Gateway. A page refresh loaded the correct page.
Not for some of us. Some of us they have been working all along and them not working is a change very recently. That is why I mentioned it above, because it is a change for me.
ermahgawsh seriously whatever makes it flag posts as spam just because you go in to edit a grammatical error, can it please stop?
Yeah, mine did work longer than many but over time, I’ve been loosing a few at a time until recently when they were all ‘gone’. I miss them as I count on them to help convent intent beyond what just the words are.
And now via Notifications the site its telling me that I’m not authorized to read this thread*and to contact site admin. But I can access it if I go to the forum. This happens to me about 3 or 4 times a month.
- I am able to open other threads via Notifications…for now.
I get a pop-up of “working” quite a bit.
In hindsight, it seems that COTH could have made a better choice in software providers.
Well I was actually able to log in and it only took 3 minutes. This is the first page I came to and now I’m stuck here and can’t get out, lets see if this actually posts. It took me well over 5 mins to log out last night.

I had to abandon the Mac because the forum wasn’t moving at all. I couldn’t log out before I switched to my phone. Now I’m having issues with the forum on my phone as well.
Until recently, the first 6? 8? 10? in the list worked fine.
This happens when someone posts, and either deletes their comment, or that comment gets send to Unapproved status. So essentially you’re being directed to a link that doesn’t exist anymore.
And there is a pretty big issue with Unapproved posts
Switching the platform on your side might appear to work but not really the solution as I am of the belief that the issue is on the COTH side.
Not sure if this information helps anything but … For the last two days the forum has run smoothly in the morning, in the afternoon it goes back to the timing out and long delays for just about everything.
