@Moderator 1 What version of vBulletin is being used? Years ago they went to sort of a lifelong membership and eventually stopped providing support and upgrades for the older versions. It’s usually at the bottom of the page but this is all I see.

Just had my post over in the How do you feel about the behavior of President Trump? forum flagged as spam and needs a moderator approval. Never had that happen before.
Can’t the software tell what is spam?
It is the latest version, which is 5.6.2, though it probably isn’t fully patched to the extent that it should be, as a patch was just issued in the last 72 hours for security purposes.
Been finding the pages are very slow to load and sometimes I can even access the forums.

The automated spam filters have always caught legitimate posts from real users, but it’s definitely more common than it was. One cold comfort is that we’re getting virtually no real spam coming through the system, even to the spam filters, at the moment. Probably because the site is running too slowly for the bots! 
At this moment, all I can offer you is our apologies for the poor performance of the site, assurance that we are working on solutions, a promise to update you when I have more information to share, and THANKS for your patience!

This is such a terrific place to come and hang out that speaking for myself I plan to stay close, be patient and keep trying until things are sorted. (and use alternative smilies for now 🙃)

Issues are starting up again. Delays opening the site, plus an error (several times) trying to “like” a post. I tried again and was able to do the “like.”

Interesting that it seems to be working well for me today. Emojis and all, on Firefox.
Will it support Ipads?
Now it’s got a time limit on my log in so I’m halfway through a post with references and oops, I’m logged out. But it’s not making me wait for pages to load, so far.
What are you using, phone, laptop, mac?
This time it was the hard drive, windows 7.
FWIW, Microsoft ended Mainstream Support for Windows 7 on January 13, 2015. Extended Support for Win 7 ended on January 14, 2020. I know you like using it (or using software that doesn’t run on more recent versions of Windows) but running software this old does come with risks.
