Horseless Rider in Boston Area
I’m 17 years old and am desperately looking for some saddle time before heading off to college next fall! For financial reasons I’ve gone from riding multiple horses 4 or 5x/week to a single IEA practice. I’ve ridden and shown some for 12 years in hunters and eq, only limited by lack of a horse. Spent the summer exercising polo ponies, so I am willing to ride anything! I have also done pony club and spent the past 2 summers riding only outdoors/over eventing-type fences with a lot of dressage-based flatwork, so I can ride eventers, too. I have experience with OTTBs, greenies, older horses, hot horses. 5’6"/120 so I can ride the big’uns and ponies as well – I love the naughty ones. I’m free most of the week including weekends.
Riderless horse in South Sacramento, CA looking for rider

I’m looking for a rider for my 16.1 hh TB gelding. He’s a fantastic boy–I ride him jumpers, but he does hunters, equitation, trail riding, dressage, and some barrels (just for fun). He’s in Wilton, CA living with my mom since my husband just dragged me to Georgia and couldn’t bring him with.
Anyway, Mom is busy with her dressage horse and doesn’t have time to give my TB the time he deserves. I don’t want to lease him because I don’t want him to be shown and over jumped, but if anyone is just looking for a horse to ride, he is a blast. My parents’ house has a nice arena and I have two jumps plus barrels (and you can do a lot with 3 jumps).
Looking for someone over the age of 18 who isn’t over 150 lbs (my boy is tall but slender), and is at least an intermediate rider. My boy has been used for lessons and is fantastic for beginners but I’d prefer a more experienced rider.

I am 27 and have been riding most of my life, with experience riding hunters and eq, also basic dressage. As a junior I owned two horses and competed in CT/NY. I also faired well in IHSA and have been able to keep up riding 5+ days a week ever since.
I am becoming horseless as I work regular hours and have been riding a horse at a barn with no indoor/lights (& its getting dark earlier:cry:) I live just outside Fall River, so anything from Portsmouth to Rehoboth would be great.
I am accustomed to doing the stalls of horses I ride, as well as other chores to contribute.
I am 5’8’’/ 120 and am comfortable on ponies, greenies, rehab projects etc.

Former Saddleseat rider (it’s been about 10 years since in the saddle) however, don’t let that scare you.
I need to leg up but have little experience in anything but Saddleseat, in which I was very experienced and accomplished in. I am open to other disciplines, I just might need some walking me through it and obviously am not going to be doing any jumping or dressage right away.
I prefer a larger horse, as I am tall and bigger, but I have no issues with green, spirited and otherwise obnoxious to ride horses.

Angel Acres is a looking for a volunteer exercise rider for our Maryland Training Facility (located in Manchester, MD).
We are looking for someone to ride 2 to 3 horses 3 days per week. In addition, there may be times candidate will be asked to help with stalls, hold for farrier or vet, etc.
This is a volunteer position; however we are offering the right candidate boarding for one horse (no stallions) with access to trails, an indoor arena to ride in, outdoor riding area and access to one of many different padocks on this beautiful 40+ acre farm.
Owner lives on property and the Angel Acres veternarian, Dr. Wells, is less than 3 miles away. Board includes stall, feed, & hay.

I am looking for a horse that needs to be ridden in Maryland - somewhere near the Annapolis area.
I just graduated from college in May and have been horseless since. I had to sell my horse during school for financial reasons.
I have been riding for 13 years. I did Pony Club for 10 years, competed in Eventing and Dressage at Training Level. I worked with Steven Bradley for a while in Eventing and Matt McLaughlin in Dressage and would love to work with a horse that does dressage or that is learning dressage.

Riderless 3’ WB hunter in Atlanta, GA - prefer junior rider, showing opps avail
Nice, quiet, a/a hunter needs to stay in shape while I am out for back surgery for a few months. For the right rider, showing is a possibility. Prefer a junior rider, but open to adults as well. Rides are free, showing costs negotiable. Horse boards at private barn and I am hoping to keep him in shape without sending him for full training.
Barn is located near Panola Road and I-20 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lovely facility, less than 30 minutes from downtown.
Horse is 16’3, 9yo zweibrucker gelding, simple and easy, NO bad habits, in-your-pocket personality. Rides will be supervised by horse’s owner and/or trainer and might include free lesson opportunities. (Very experienced adult rider would have opportunity to ride unsupervised according to his or her own schedule.)
Ideal rider is a horseless junior or junior who wants to move up from ponies but doesn’t have access to a move-up horse.

Jack16 - sent you a p.m. I have 2 thoroughbred mares, 5 and 6. The 5 year old is recently off the track and ready for a new career. 6 year old was never raced and has just spent 4 months getting her basics in. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I haven’t ridden in the last several years. I’m going to start back easy with my old guy, but these girls are certainly available if you want something to play with. I’m about 15-20 minutes from Richmond. also have a friend in Louisa with a bunch of young stock, thoroughbred, tbcrosses and warmbloods. I can hook you up.

Adult rider looking for horse to ride 2x/week BRIGEWATER NJ
I’m an adult rider and former horse owner who has started taking lessons 2x/week after a hiatus of a year or so. I’ve been back in riding for about 2 months, but would like to get more saddle time so I can practice what I’ve learned between lessons. The horse I currently use in lessons is great, but used by one other person on alternate days so there aren’t any other options currently for horses to use for practice. (this is a private barn, where I love the lessons, but there aren’t options for practice rides). The horse I use for lessons spooks once in a while and I’m actually ok with that (I stay glued to the saddle). However, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with one who bolts or bucks.
I’m a Ph.D. scientist and am responsible and serious. If you need help exercising an older or creaky horse that you can’t ride everyday, that’s cool. I would be happy just to practice flatwork at an easy w/t/c. I can take time to do general horse or barn related chores after I ride (cleaning your tack, cooling out, etc.)

If anyone needs a horse driven/ jogged in Fairfax or PW county drop me a line. I’ve driven horses for about 8 yrs, after riding forever, mostly saddlebreds. My horse is in training, but 2.5 hours south, so I’m looking for something closer to home during the week. I’ve done show horses, but also road miles with a pleasure horse.
I am home in southern Alberta for a few months. I would love to go for a trick on someone who has an extra horse. Have not ridden in a year or two, but using a pilot intermediate type.
