Rider available - Sacramento, CA area (Davis)

I’m a UC Davis student on the Dressage team looking to get a few more rides in every once in a while. I would call myself an intermediate rider, but very safe. I have experience with green off-track SB/TBs, working with spooky horses with “tunnel vision” for jumps, etc. If the horse & environment are safe, I’m fine. Am currently showing at Intro level (new to dressage) in Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) competitions (going to Nationals!)

I’ve never owned/leased my own horse, but have ridden other peoples horses. I’m very easy to get along with, treat all horses & people with the upmost respect. I’m 5’8 and 170, but have ridden stocky ponies with great care (I look silly, but I use my body correctly)

References available (trainers & owners I’ve ridden for). Preferably looking for something within 20 miles of Davis (Woodland/Dixon/?)

Horseless Rider in Lehigh Valley PA

Hi I am currently a senior in college in Bethlehem, PA. I have been missing riding desperately and am interested in exercising a horse or two as needed. I have been riding for the past ten years hunter/jumpers. I would say I’m an intermediate rider (who is currently very rusty!). Truthfully I really just miss being around horses and would be interested in grooming/working around the barn–really anything to be around the horses!

I have reliable transportation and am willing to travel up to 30 miles roundtrip.

Riderless Horse in North Carolina

I have a sweet, talented, green WB in need of a rider. I am pregnant and can no longer ride. I need someone to come out and ride her a few times a week. I’d be willing to do a free-lease to an approved off-site facility. This could be a long-term situation to the right person.

She has had a few months of professional training, but she is still quite green. She is solid WTC and was started over jumps - she went over them without blinking an eye. She learns quickly, wants to please and is a great mover. She has also been trail riding and knows how to long line. She really just needs someone to work with her consistently and I can’t do that right now.

She is currently a 20 min drive from Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill, and about 30 minutes from NC State.

I am hoping to be able to find a free lease for Captain while I am out of commision.

He is a roarer, so is not suitable for the hunters…while is a cute jumper and safe as can be, he will not be competitive at shows. He has shown at local shows in the hunters in classes under 2’6 and will pin, over 2’6 our circuit is pretty solid so we dont get used.

I ride him the jumpers and have started eventing. He is super quiet and easy.

Anyone on the eastern shore of MD (south/east of salisbury) looking for a rider for their horse?

I sold my mare back in October and am now itching to ride again since it’s spring. I have a few friends I ride with occasionaly but would like something a bit more steady.

I’ve ridden/trained greenies to solid packers, both english and western. Showed mostly the local circuits growing up and have been foxhunting with the Wicomico Hunt since 2002.

I was taking lessons at a farm in South Lyon, MI, but due to buying a house in Royal Oak, have discontinued riding due to distance and finances.

Looking for any kind of saddle time I can get and willing to help out around the barn too of course.

I have 20 years of on and off riding and general horse experience. Western and English.
Have ridden Hunters, Jumpers, Low level dressage, green horses, and trail riding.
Comfortable riding horses and ponies 14-17hh. Have ridden Arabs, Trakehners, Quarter Horses, Morgans, POA Ponies, Draft Crosses, and enjoyed a few rides on a Paso Fino.

I am a mid-20s, small rider (5’2"). I would be able to travel up to 45 min from Royal Oak, available evenings on weekdays, almost any-time on weekends.

Horseless h/j rider upstate - central NY

Based in Northern Otsego County - can head towards Albany, Utica, or Syracuse directions within an hour of home.
Older (ahem) former show rider - would like to lose a few and get back into a good riding weight. Prefering to take it easy at the beginning, but nevertheless, confident on almost all horses - used to own OTTBs.
Perhaps would work out well with someone whose horse needs to be brought back - either from winter, or a lay off, and you’re just too busy to work on it daily.
Hunter/jumper based - not really into dressage, eventing, etc. Outgoing, optimistic, willing to give a hand around the barn as well.

Horseless rider, Northshore MA

Horseless rider north of Boston MA. Have been riding for 9 years, western, hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing, experience in natural horsemanship willing to do just about anything for some saddle time but would prefer an eventing mount! I am a horseless rider in the Greensboro area looking for some time in the saddle and opportunity to polish my skills while helping someone out. I have been riding for eight years, first in hunter/jumper and now in dressage. I am a solid training level rider and would say that my strongest point is my eq. I’m not totally horseless yet, but the owner I am riding for is in the process of moving out of state.

I’m a 23 year old college grad and soon to be teacher. Looking for a horse (or horses) in the Dallas side of the metroplex, pretty flexible on location, depending on the circumstances.

Horselss Rider – I rode for Bridgewater College’s equestrian team. I recently moved back to NOVA and am looking for someone that is in need for a rider to hack/exercise their horse. I do hunters.
