PART LEASE: 2nd Level TB Mare - Indianapolis, IN

Hey everyone! I have a 13 year old 16.2h TB mare that I would like to part lease for the remainder of the year. I’m pregnant (due in Oct) and simply can’t ride as much as I would like.

I’m really looking for someone to ride 2-3 times per week. My mare trained through 2nd level dressage, schooling some third, however she is out of shape for collected work as I haven’t ridden enough since learning I was pregnant. Generally, she’s a steady type, very athletic and quite intelligent. Intermediate rider preferred.

Indoor and outdoor arenas at the facility, however no jumps. Monthly lease price will be determined based on number of rides/week. Boarded in Brownsburg, IN (west side of Indianapolis). Lots of pictures and some video available on request. Thanks!

2 mares looking for riders ~ NoVA

My boarder’s offering her two mares for free lease/sale, getting to be crunch time as they need to be moved from my farm by July 18th.

Mare 1: 25yo TB mare, 16+hh, sweet, quiet, sound. My 9yo son catches and rides her on his own. Still has good rides left in her. Formerly a broodmare, produced several fine foals including Wallstreet Week.

Mare 2: 14yo Oldenburg mare, 16+hh, sweet, green but not stupid. Needs more miles.

Both are barefoot and sound and looking for new friends.

Looking for a long term free lease on a pony in WNY.

Must be absolutely child broke, does not need to be a ‘show pony’. Looks do not matter - only my childs safety does. Would like something that does not need to be lead around, can just walk around the ring where child steers. Must be excellent on cross ties for kids to groom. Child will ALWAYS be supervised and taught proper horsemanship, but you can only expect so much precision from a 3 year old - they are bound to make a mistake and I don’t want an animal to scare her.

Horseless rider in Baltimore County, Maryland.

My Rhinelander gelding is going to be on stall rest for 3-4 months, and I would love to have another horse to ride in the meantime. I’ve owned him for 4 years and we competed in 1meter jumper classes in Oman, where we used to live. I’ve been riding for 30 years (I’m 37) and love to do ring work, jumping, hacking out, and of course grooming and lots of petting.

It would be great to keep fit and keep in riding shape this summer. My horse and I put ourselves back to work in early March and were about four months into our program when he came up with a slight tendon injury, so I’m going to rest him for awhile.

I would be tickled pink to be able to do a little bit of showing, and invest in some lessons! I am a dedicated rider and I like to cross all of my t’s and dot my i’s…that means that no dirty tack goes back on the wall, horse is as clean and comfortable as he can be when we are done, and ring/aisle look better than they did before I used them. I take an extreme amount of pride in riding and working with horses.

Thanks for reading, and I welcome messages from anyone who thinks I might have a spot in their barn.

^ messaged you!

Adult hunter rider looking for something to ride! I have a 3 yr old TB mare who is going to be started under saddle next month and since we sold our QH last month I don’t have anything in the barn to ride. Would be interested in a free lease or something that just needs to be worked in exchange for some much needed saddle time :)[/QUOTE]

You forgot your location.

Found.

Horseless Rider

Looking for a horse to ride near Atlanta. I live in Buckhead, am 33 y/o, and I am dying to start riding again. Would prefer to stay within about a 30 mile radius of Buckhead. I grew up riding hunter/jumpers/eq, but moved a few years ago to Atlanta and took a break. SOOO ready to start back! Please let me know if you need a quite, steady rider to excercise, train, etc.

Thank you!!!

Sent you a PM.

Eastern Shore, MD - Ridgely -horse looking for rider

I’m hoping someone can help exercise my older thoroughbred 15.3h gelding. I do not make it out to the barn often enough and I feel guilty. Ideally, I would like for someone to ride at least once a week and possibly take lessons at the farm. Mostly flat work, some jumping ok. Awesome trainer. Opportunity to show - the farm shows weekly.
My guy is honest, sweet and forward. He is not for a beginner. He has a dressage background and knows a lot but it’s been a while. He is also great on trails, has been to paper chases, the ocean and parades.
Tack will be provided. I have both English and western, and a bareback pad if you’re game. Your tack is ok if it fits. He’s a fun horse that will do just about anything for you. He’s a thoroughbred, what more could you ask for? Thanks!

he is now located in Ridgely, MD and there is an indoor arena.

Columbus, OH horse for lease

Hi everyone, my 9 year old OTTB is back in work and fantastic, unfortunately I’m enrolled in nursing school come October and time and finances are waning. I am looking for a competent rider for him, we’ve done some of everything (went XC schooling, trail riding, and some hunter shows. I think he’ll love jumpers when he’s got more miles at shows.) I’m ideally looking for a full time lease but if that’s not an option we are happy to do a half lease, or even some rides per week, I’m flexible!

Please email me at mimseppi@gmail.com or message me here if interested!

Riderless Dutch Jumper Mare – Los Angeles Area

Looking to find a horseless rider in the Los Angeles area for my Dutch WB mare. Hunter and more recently jumper experience, at a LOVELY jumper barn in Hidden Valley. 16.1h and BIG bodied, she can easily accommodate a taller rider. I’m 5’3 and I look tiny on her! Big mover, HUGE canter, and a cute jump. Auto changes, sensitive and forward but a soft mouth and great downward transitions. Intermediate rider or above. Lessons are available with a fabulous jumper trainer; unfortunately you cannot jump at this facility without trainer supervision. Access to trails (and she loves them) right from the barn. Rider is completely welcome to show. Ideally looking for someone who can ride more than once or twice a week. Any/all days available. No lease fee. Please PM or email me at shannondebuiser at gmail dot com. Thanks!

Horseless Rider San Jose, CA

Horseless rider in San Jose, CA. I’m 28 and ridden most of my life. I’ve done hunter shows, IHSA for four years during college, taken dressage lessons, and worked with a ranch horse versatility team at the junior college I taught at. I’ve moved back in with my parents for a year while I prepare to get a doctorate and need a horse to ride.

I’m on the short side and fairly good with large ponies but I most recently rode a 16 hand Oldenburg gelding in Colorado for several years.

Horseless Rider in NE PA(Wilkes Barre)

Horseless in NE PA(Wilkes Barre)

A general overview about myself. I haven’t ridden for about a year but I’m finally at a spot in my life that I’d really like to get back into it. I’ll need some legging up, but once I get back in shape I’d be good to go! I’m 25 years old and started taking lessons when I was 4, got my first pony at 8. I’ve been riding since then, started in dressage/eventing but have mostly been doing hunter/jumpers. Lots of experience with green and OTTB’s, restarting and retraining them. I love thoroughbreds and find working with OTTBs very rewarding. I have some experience with youngstock, and have started a few babies. I’ve also worked with babies in teaching them to lead, stand for farrier and shots, walks around the farm to get them used to new experiences. We’ve had horses on our own property as well as boarded, so I have experience in both types of environments. I was an assistant manager/general caretaker/trainer a breeding/training farm home to 20 horses and ponies. I’m a very quiet rider with a balenced seat and soft hands. Workman like equitation but very effective in helping the horse to preform to the best of it’s ability. I’m hardworking, honest and very dedicated. I love to learn and absorb new information like a sponge. I’m very quiet and easy to work with. Would love to be able to catch a few rides and am willing to ride anything!
