Riderless Horses and Horseless Riders--matchmaking service!

Riderless Horse- Montgomery County, MD

16’2 WB cross gelding, 7 years old. Still slightly on the green side because of lack of exerpeience, but a sweet guy with no buck/rear/kick. Great ground manners and in your pocket personality. Looking to half lease him out for the fall/winter as I will be going back to school and don’t have as much time as I’d really like. Trail rides alone or with company. Showing possible. Intermediate and above rider. I’m fairly flexible and would just be looking for something that works for both parties. Boarded at lovely facility.

Horseless rider in the Orange County, NC area

I haven’t ridden much over the past few years due to lack of finances and time but I grew up riding and showing on the A circuit in the hunters, jumpers, and eq. Comfortable on hot horses or quiet horses. I’m about 5’7" so I can can make do on a lrg pony as well. Can do green horses without an issue. Enjoy going out on the trails or hacking in fields as well. Can deal with project horses so long as they aren’t dangerous. Willing to help out some with chores around the farm as well. I have a weird work and school schedule so afternoons or weekends work best for me. I have my own saddle but owner would need to have girth and bridle. Can provide references if needed.

Horseless in Kentucky. How is that even possible?

Relocated to Lexington at the beginning of the year. Professional hunter-jumper trainer, so fairly picky. Have been out of the saddle for awhile but not concerned, the feel is still there. Would like to find a young/green hunter or jumper that’s not getting enough attention and could use a couple extra rides a week. Do not make my money as a professional horse trainer any more, just looking for some rides (though not opposed to being paid for something that needs a structured program and/or lessons).

I have an addiction to flatwork, not really interested in just posting around an arena. Green or made, horse should be a promising athlete.

Figured it was worth a shot . . .

Wind Gap PA Trail Horse For lease

my friend has just lost a job and needs someone to lease or half lease her 4 yr old QH, he is over 15 h, and he is extremely calm and sedate for a 4 yr old. he is very well behaved. he knows the trails and he knows some ring work. Our farm is a trail barn, we don’t have show arenas or show mentality. But if you just want to go out and enjoy a nice ride on a great horse for a few hours in good company, contact me and i’ll set you up with her number. Nezzy

Horseless Rider in South Florida (Plantation, Davie, Coconut Creek, SW Ranches)

I’m an experienced rider in South Florida (Broward County) , F, age 35. I’ve owned a horse, and have half-leased consistently over the past several years (riding 3x per week at least), now having to financially “downsize” with my riding in order to meet some other personal & financial goals and will be down to one lesson per week. I’d appreciate the opportunity to get some more saddle time in, as well as meet other riders/horse owners who might want someone to help keep their horses hacked or ride with them as a trail buddy

I ride primarily HJ but have some dressage training and am interested in that discipline as well. I’m happy to ride sensitive TBs and am comfortable with young horses ( to the extent that they are green broke and sane). I can offer riding references.

Horseless rider in Colorado

Horseless rider in Colorado. (Boulder area)
I love horses and used to ride a lot, but have not recently due to cost. I am in desperate need to get back to riding. I am outgoing, and a very hard worker. I ride english, but am not opposed to western trail rides. In addition I can also groom, muck stalls, clean tack, lunge, and feed in exchange for riding. Please, if you know of a horse that needs love and riding let me know!!

Horseless FEI Eventer/Jumper in California

My 18 yo 1*/former Jr. Jumper horse who I was entered and ready to take Intermediate injured a front suspensory on a trailer ride and is currently in rehab now. I have owned him for 10 years and I feel that his longevity is a testament to the care I provide my mounts. While I have a two year old waiting in the wings, I am very interested in staying current and am able to campaign a horse in California. I am a member of USEF, USEA, USHJA, and USDF. I currently am just catch riding as I can, but I crave a more consistent project. While I am comfortable and capable competing a horse lower level dressage, upper level hunters, or mid level jumpers, my passion is eventing.

E-mail or PM is fine.

Riderless horses in Mullica Hill, NJ

**Kayla has a rider

Only one horse available, older gelding has been retired. Kayla is currently boarded in Woodstown (Salem County) NJ.

Kayla - 15.2, 10 year old tb mare. Easy to ride w/t/c, but has her days when she can be a bit up. Doing really well with laterals - leg yields, starting shoulder and haunches. Working on consistency in the bridle and tempo. Must be an experienced dressage rider that can better the horse. I ride at least twice a week, 3x if possible. Weekends are available to ride on farm with beautiful ring with full size dressage arena and lights. Trails available and she’s good out of the ring just needs some confidence. Doesn’t like water. You can take lessons on her if you like, great trainers very close by.

NC Horseless Rider

Solid 1st level 17 year old dressage rider in need of rides.

I do not own a horse, so I have essentially catch ridden for the eight years that I have ridden. Also experienced in hunter/jumper on the flat and jumping up to 18-24 inches.

Experienced but horseless rider in SF bay area, CA

I’m a lifelong rider who isn’t in a place to own right now and am looking for a new mount. I’ve ridden and shown H/J (jumping about 2’6" lately, but have jumped up to 3’6" on previous horses) and have done dressage into 2nd level. Looking to ride 2-3 days a week (flexible on this). Jumping is nice but not necessary - I can keep myself and my horse plenty entertained with flatwork.

Open to lessons and possibly showing, but what’s most important to me is getting saddle time on a horse with a good attitude at a good facility with friendly boarders.

I live on the mid-peninsula but am willing to drive up to an hour for the right situation. PM me if you have any leads!

Horseless Rider in Montgomery County MD

30 year old female rider with 20+ years experience in the saddle. Mostly h/j and some lower level dressage.

Have 9 to 5 job but with not enough funds to currently own or lease :frowning:

Would love to find a horse (I’m 5’7 so a bit too big for anything under 15hh) that needs regular flat work. I am available weeknights after 530pm and anytime on weekends.

I’m good with just about anything except super greenies (few months under saddle) but have tons of experience with hot and/or difficult rides.

Please PM or email porterlea@gmail.com

Have references if need be! Thanks!

Riderless horse in Haymarket-Aldie, VA area

Horseless Rider in Montgomery County MD :frowning:
Wish you were just a bit closer!

I have an 11 year old, really nice, 15.2-3 Westfalen mare that could use a regular rider. She is broke, and has jumped a bit a few summers ago, but not much since, and has really only been ridden a few times a year for the last few.

She is not my usual, easy going horse, as she is a more sensitive ride, with really big gaits, and very athletic. If someone is a good rider, but can’t afford to lease/own, she would be a super project horse. Showing possible in dressage or hunters if someone puts in the time.

I’m in Philomont! I have riding experience, including polo lessons, riding green-broke broncos and a barrel racer in South Dakota, and years of informal trail riding. Obviously not a Grand Prix rider, but I love horses and have worked in barns for years as well.

I’d love to help exercise your Connemara if he’s still open for it
