BRiderless Horses in NW PA. 1/2 hour South of Erie. [/B]
Have a couple horses that could use more work.
One is okay for more beginner type/ low confidence type… she is also fun for the more experienced rider and she can use more schooling. IE. she is very safe, but extremely lazy. She needs to work. You need to be able to motivate her. She’s FAT. 14hh, bay mare. Can carry average sized adult fine. She can jump once fit. Honest to small jumps X’s - 2’ … can go higher but needs to get fit fit fit! Awesome on trails.
Other one needs more of a confident intermediate rider or better. Not spooky but is quirky and can be exuberant due to coming back into work. Once in work is a pretty steady dude. Coming back into work after layup. Needs to move into a dressage/HUS career for now. He’s fun and interesting to ride. Challenging without being scary. (No jumping anytime in the near future.) 16hh, gelding.
Both of the above have been to local shows and done well. Both are nice movers, especially the gelding. You can show them at the shows I go to if you want.
Possible have other horses to ride occasionally.
We are currently getting our arenas base/footing professionally done. Trail system is being worked on. Just refitted the XC field, which you could hack on next summer/fall (when the grass has grown in enough). Have large outdoor and small indoor.
What I need from a rider: Commitment to 3x a week min. (most weeks - I know people have lives and things happen). Also would appreciate you giving the horse, and once in a while another horse, a really thorough grooming when you ride. Clean the tack occasionally. Once in a while help tearing down or setting up stadium course would be great too. If you want to occasionally help on days when we are working on the trails, that would be fabulous too.
