DC Suburbs/Southern MD

Four riderless horses (TBs and QHs) in southern Anne Arundel county (5 minutes to Upper Marlboro, 20 minutes DC, 20 minutes to Annapolis). All good boys, but out of shape and need more than the once or twice a week we ride them. Private indoor with lights for year round riding. PM for details.

RIDERLESS IN NW OHIO

14.1H riderless honey looking to be leased for any term. I need more time under saddle. I am broke but I want to learn to jump better for little kids. I love kids. Anyone out there wanting to work with me?

Still horseless in Mullica Hill, NJ

Still looking for something to ride in Mullica Hill area. Something with dressage experience would be a plus. Indoor huge plus since the weather is going to start getting bad. Reasonable lease or just something that needs ride time. Green okay. Please let me know!! Desperate for something to ride thats close to home so I have time and something I can hop on once or twice a week i’m going crazy!

Riderless horse in Tampa, FL. 17.2 horse with dressage background.

1 riderless green horse near Fair Hill, MD

I have 1 14.3 H horse left needs an experienced, confident and kind rider. This person would have to be the right fit, he’s sensitive and can not be forced but will be willing if asked correctly and respectfully. My other 2 are the same way and their riders are enjoying them.

He’s had training and was ridden all over Fair Hill but it’s been a couple years since anyone was on him.

Northeast PA…still horseless.

Still searching for a ride or two in NE PA…I miss it more than anything. Willing to travel.

I’m actually in southeast, PA close to the MD state line near Fair Hill, too bad we’re in opposite ends of the state. My farm is about an hour from Philly, maybe less. I’m 45 minutes or more from southern Lancaster County depending on where and 15-20 minutes from Newark, DE but you can be at Fair Hill Training Center in 5 minutes.

Horses Available

Very reasonable lease-type situations available at nice farm with indoor arena in 08551 NJ. One large WB horse with lots of dressage training, one greenish TB mare. PM me if interested.

From a horseless rider coming to wellington this winter
I would really love to share my horses with someone as I have so little time right now. Isn’t there anyone nearby who would like some nice (but currently out-of-work) warmbloods to ride?
Hi, You may have already found someone by this time but I am coming down to Wellington this winter. I am a physical therapy student and will be working at Wellington Regional completing my last clinical and will have evenings and weekends to ride. I am looking to progress out of 1st level, have done eventing and also some experience starting young horses. My 3yr old will be staying at home for the 3 months I will be away. I would like to improve my riding skills and see as many of the shows and festivities during the winter season. I can send you more info about me if you are interested.

My email is: cuasyouare12@yahoo.com or ungerc@sage.edu

Thanks,
Cathryn

Charleston,SC

Horseless in Charleston,Sc. I rode h/j for years and competed up through prelim in eventing. I spent a gap year being a working student. A long shot since everyone seems to be posting in area 2/zone 4.

Riderless Horses

I have several easy going horses that need riding. Since my knee surgery, I haven’t been riding, my daughter is back in school and we are running out of daylight/ride time for her with homework and all, and the two young folks that have been riding for me, are busy with full time jobs.

Ideally, weekdays due to the time change, but would love to have these horses exercised more often than the once or twice a month they are getting. (daily turnout, so not as bad as it sounds, but would love some riding on them) Located in PA, Lancaster County, close to MD line.

I am moving to PA to ride Lazydacres ponies!

Small, nothing-fancy farm with well-cared American Saddlbreds looking for someone interested in riding (maybe even low-cost showing) privileges in exchange for occasional light barn work. I could basically use a second pair of hands around the barn sometimes! We do hunt seat, alittle jumping, saddleseat, and even a little western - these are all-around versatile saddlebreds! I do teach some lessons, so willingness to work around small novice riders occasionally is important. I am willing to show someone the ropes if you want to learn something new (like saddleseat) or I am willing to let a seasoned rider just ride. Casual, friendly atmosphere with nice people and horses. Outdoor riding only (no indoor), but we do have nice trails also. We are located in north York, PA - about 1/2 hour south of Harrisburg and about 1 hour north of Baltimore. Only about 4 miles off of I-83.

Riderless horse - Freedom, NH (Southern Mt Washington Valley)

Well, she’s not riderless, my job is just taking up too much time/energy for me to ride her as much as I’d like! She’s a 5 y/o Arab, 14.2 h (carries 5’8" me without a problem) eventually destined for eventing (see above about time… :sigh: ), doing dressage and trails right now. Not for a beginner (still green!), but doesn’t need advanced rider, either - mostly just a decent rider who’s confident. She’s W/T/C/beginning jumping - successful at local open shows and unrec dressage (training level). I’m looking for something to help offset costs, but not a ton of money - totally negotiable depending on how often someone wants to ride!

Showing is fine (we’re working through a trailering issue, but she’ll be fine by spring). In fact, I can ride hardly at all mid-June through August, so for someone who’d like to show this could be a great situation!

Horseless in MN

Hi-

I think this is probably a longshot, but I am looking for a horse to ride a couple times a week near the twin cities in MN. I am in the south suburbs, anyone in that area have a horse that needs a little extra work? I am an adult, have been riding for years, and not only do I love to ride, I also really love grooming! If anyone knows of anything, please send me a message. Thanks!

2 horses in Orange County

I have 2 mares available for 1/2 lease in Orange County. Must stay at Coto de Caza Equestrian Center. Great opportunity for an amateur or junior rider. Showing is an option.
1)Holsteiner 16.3 hand 5 year old mare. Jumper or equitation. Green but easy and fun.
2)16 hand 4 year old Oldenburg mare. Going well. Green but a nice ride. Needs a quiet rider.
1/2 lease or possible full lease an option. Mares are with a fantastic trainer and need to stay with this trainer. Both are ready to start showing this season. No beginners, since these mares are still green.
