Wow, Charlie, not Bernie. I should know that!
I think she showed Advance Ticket as a jr. jumper, maybe eq too - to be honest I donât think I ever saw Scotch Tweed except in pictures but I did see BH show Advance Ticket quite a bit. What a beautiful rider.

bekkaRAE1017, welcome, we may very well need someone to man the paddles - you have joined a very senior group. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Harry, I am not âveryâ senior just senior!
Everyone called him Farnley So No Wonder, he looked like a giant pony.
YepâŠWe covered him when poor Gail died this past year.
You got the grey part right! Thank goodness for color, If I didnât do that I would be looking for the evasive grey hairnet.
I can remember being quite taken with the visual of Mink and Pearls standing with his equally elegant owner. I believe she married Anthony DâAmbrosio. And I do believe I saw Lansonette go, but for some reason I think with a junior riderâŠ

Where is she now?
Silk, I also remember Stocking Stuffer when the Wheelers ame out to CA and showed at the Forum one year. He was simply breathtaking.
To add to the list, from the West Coast, I also loved Modest Man, Sporting Spirit, Noteworthy and Bavaria - all successful in the 4â division.
I am a âyoungerâ (22) person who has been lurking. I and I love reading about all of the great horses and people of past years. Keep it up, Im learning a lot .

OK, hold the phone⊠when did Mud Puddles close?!
Bingo! BH2
Does anyone here remember Rule the Blues? He was shown by Leslie and Brian Lenehan and later by Nicole Shahinian when she was a junior.
I love the pictures from George Morrisâ book - when I did my semester abroad at college in the States I was so shocked at how what Iâd read in the book bore no relation whatsoever to what I saw in the hunter rings - what happened???
Was the grey horse named Playing Games by any chance?? God I just hate this!!!
Iâm just brilliant! With the help of my own raggedy collection of National Programs, and the book, âThe National Horse Showâ, I am even more brilliant. I actually saw most of those horses compete.
Oh goodâŠthatâs nice to know.

I was on the grounds the night it happened, in the next tent. I didnât know that sound was shots. I do remember lots of shouting and a cop asking me if I saw anything (no). I was amazed anything bad could happen to Hunterdon.
And I remember the immigration folks being on the grounds the next day.
